    Hey everyone

    Um, its a weird idea. I actually think its kind of funny, so im not really expecting everyone to take it all that seriously.

    However, maybe some more practical ideas can stem from this?

    I just started thinking a moment ago, hey zerg buildings are kind of alive... what if they could move?

    Which got me thinking... hey if the hatchery could slowly move, you could actually move closer to minerals to mine faster. Or you could move your hatchery forward along with your attack to supply reinforcements quickly.

    Or a similar thing could be implemented with sunken colonies or somthing like the phase cannon, the sunken colonies could move around slowly.

    Or what if zerg buildings could stack? Like one building kind of, climbed onto another building.

    I THINK ITS A STUPID IDEA

    But i made myself laugh :) so i thought id post it

    minerals - it shouldn't be allowed to get too close to minerals, it'd be unfair imo

    I think that terran already called dibs on moving buildings, but with new phase cannons... we can't be sure anymore. Anyway I see zerg buildings more like plants (made of meat, yeah, too much KoL). Maybe instead of moving they could reproduce? Like instead of building new drone you could build a new sunken colony near already existing one. The cost would be sunken colony + drone and the original one would be inactive during the process.

    I don't think your idea is that stupid headstock, just terrans were first

    I did, but buildings aren't gonna be included in races right? ;D

    i rkn the zerg building should be full alive and when they die..they scream in vain...rofl! that would be cool i rkn

    hahahahaha oh thatd be so awful! imagine if they screamed when just getting shot

    oh... torture

    id almost feel guilty attacking the zerg

    Oh yeah I would really think: "Poor monsters. Lets not kill them. Maybe we can have peace!" hahah ^_^
    Well I think that Zerg buildings should not move, but still look more alive. I'm not saying they didn't in SC1, but I just think they should look even more.

    I could imagine seeing them moving around in creep, but there isnt much purpose for that unless its a tower(colony), and the hatchery shouldnt be able to move.

    Protoss have dibs on moving towers though.

    I imagine underground buildings for some reason, or the ability to burrow buildings for a set amount of time.

    I like your idea but i think this has been mention before, i like the hatchery when you move it slowly but i don't think it would go for the great concept of SC2, it just lacks the vibe to it but it is a great idea to produce units faster to make it become a mass army (since the zergs are offensive)

    hey what about the sunken colony??

    Its 'sunken' right? What if the sunken colony had a mode where it wasnt sunken?

    hahaha yeah, just colony, or raised colony, or somthin.

    I thought maybe the raised colony could have that weird tounge thing made a bit longer, and used as a strong melee atack.

    New kind of defence, unique to the zerg, give the two options. Sunken or Raised

    Or maybe, the raised colony launches its tongue (like a chameleon perhaps) towards air? A sunken colony could turn into a raised colony by morphing (no price), but it takes 5-10 seconds and it can't attack or anything meanwhile. It would look cool to see those tongues whip around in the air :p
    (This means no spore colony of course.)

    a building shooting aircraft with it's chameleon tounge sounds so ridiculously stupid. Not to flame or be rude but...sheesh.

    Maybe something that shoots webbing or something. Just not a tounge.
