Kuvasz, that guy just gave links, the links are not informative. Seradin provides us with a link and image to show us what we are clicking meaning easy viewing.
The pics were not there originally, notice that he edited his post after mine. I don't think it's a big deal not to see thumbnails but whatever.
Zerg is my favorite race to play with. That is kickass! Can anyone name the units? Live for the swarm!!
Baneling, the green, swollen tick-like beasts. I love these now. They looked a bit weird as rolly-pollies, but this has obviously been fixed up. Awesome model. Corruptor, pink organ with tentacles. These also look great. A lot of people seem to have a problem with what the pink part is and why it's pink, but to me it's just an enigmatic part of the creature. It's probably just pink because that's its team colour. Great model. Hydralisk, snake-like with scythe arms, like the original Hydralisk. I'm a bit disappointed with this model. First off, it looks a bit spindly and delicate with all of those spines and spikes, I think they overdid them a bit. I think the arms need a bit of work. At the moment they're pencil thin and having two additional huge scythes seems a bit cumbersome. It looks as though they'd get in the way of each other. Lastly, I think there's a problem with the eyes. All of the other Zerg units either have small or hidden eyes, or none at all. The Hydralisks looks like large headlights or something. Infestor, purple blob with teeth. I don't like this unit much at all, nor do I like its attack animation but that's a different topic all together. I've already nicknamed this the 'Defecator' in honour of its attack and I often describe it as an anamorphic blob with teeth. Something needs to be done about this model. Most of the Zerg can be passed off as creatures, which is what they should be. This just looks like a biological weapon. I know that all of Zerg are biological weapons, but they shouldn't look as though that's what they are. Lurker, five-legged carapace with large head and mandibles. I love this model. It's perfect. The five legs make it look really alienesque, its looks really armoured with its robust thorns. The only slight problem I have with it is the eyes. They're hidden well, but when you can see them, they look quite out of place. Also, depending on what's under its head, it might look a bit top heavy. Apart from that, perfect. Mutalisk, flying worm, similar to the original. I'm a big fan of this model as well. Not sure quite how to explain it, but it's a massive improvement from the StarCraft1 and Ghost models (not that those ones were bad). Robust spikes and vicious teeth, again, perfect. Overlord, floating crab-like insectoid. This is another brilliant unit. Again, the StarCraft1 Overlord didn't look bad (it didn't look good, but it didn't look bad) and this one is 10x better. Stunning model. Queen, large, webbed, multi-limbed insectoid. I loved the in-game screenshots of the Queen. Upon closer inspection I've realised that it's not as wondrous as my initial reaction to it was, but it's still a great unit. One thing I've noticed in this close up is that it looks a bit humanoid with its arms and shoulders, and the head needs to be tweaked a bit. However seeing as it won't always be viewed with an extreme close up, it's an extremely good model. Ultralisk, large, huge, enormous, gigantic beast of blades. I much preferred the 3D rendering of the StarCraft:Ghost. The head plate looks oversized and, similar to the Hydralisk, the blades looks as though they'd get in the way of each other. It doesn't look as though the blades are very maneuverable either. Also it looks a bit too rigid when it's just standing still. In my opinion it needs to be made to look more natural. Thanks for the images!
