Zeratul's journey: Twilight's energy creatures coonection with SCII?

Hi, I've tried to read up on the fiction between the events of The Dark Templar Saga 3, where Zeratul in 2053 discovers the gathering of the mysterious energy creatures in space and starcraft 2.

Now, starcraft 2 takes place in 2054 - 4 years after BW - and one year after the events of the novel. In the end of the novel these energy creatures creates a worhole, which Zeratul follows:

Zeratul arrived on Pegasus just in time to witness the energy creature emerge and depart into space. The prelate followed it to a gathering of dozens, possibly hundreds, of other energy creatures. The creatures then created a wormhole through which Zeratul traveled to the mysterious planet at the other end. - from the SC wikia

He travels through the wormhole, and then what? how does that connect with SC II?

In SC II he has been searching the galaxy for clues regarding the hybrid threat, which he the delivers to Raynor in the Ihun Crystal, where the information is stored. This happens in 2054 if I am correct.

So whats the connection? :S

 

Spoilers would have to be said but i'm pretty sure theres a cinematic of his ship going through a wormhole thing, perhaps i'm mistaken so i guess of thats true its a direct connection.

. After reading the wikia the plot makes alot more sense haha...though talking about that would def have to go under the spoiler section...
