Zeratul's injuries? During the single player demo

i dunno if its just me but i think at the end of the demo where raynor talks to zeratul it seems he was injured. what do u think his injuries are from? maybe from battling Xel Naga, thats how he knew about them returning maybe. another possibly kerrigan but that was shown in the trailer and it probably isnt canon. im leaning towards the xel naga, maybe my eyes is playing tricks on me and he wasnt injured at all lol

 

I think it has to do with what was shown on the cinematic trailer

The one thing I hope for is for those wounds not to be terminally fatal.

 

Nah... Toss are tough buggers, kinda hard to belive Zeratul could died after his daring escape (from wherever and whoever )

Besides he was able to track Raynor and get aboard Hyperion, not an easy feat for somone criticaly injured

 

Maybe how he got onto the Hyperion was by concentrating his psionic powers to create a small warp field that would transport him onto the ship ? It could explain why he was weakened and why the lights flickered when he confronted Raynor.

 

I'm not sure why he was wounded, but I think that he transported onto the Hyperion. In the hall, before Ranor sees him, you hear the faint sound of a Protoss transport (like when the buildings are warping in).

 

Hes seen fighting zerg in the trailer video. I doubt that is the scene in which he gets injured. Probably he got cut by a screw while crouching through the hyperions airducts.

 

nah I think he was was referring to the Xel'naga coming. He didn't look that bad so I'd be surprised if it was fatal.

 

And, Zeratul is smart, not arrogant. I'm sure he would seek medical help if he was injured.

Yea i agree.. taht seems to be the most possible course... But its not fair.. Zeratul and Tassadar were my all time fav. heroes!!! It would suck to have anther of my fav. hero dying like a bitch cuz he's too coool!!!

 

well didnt they say at blizzcon when someone asked if zeratul would die, they said they really like him and he'll be around for a long time. so i wouldn't worry about it.

he looked injured, yes... however, i'm still thinking how he got there in the first place... maybe he got injured due to warping in there..?

 

I am betting he was lookng for Xel'Naga artifacts when he was attacked by by Kerrigans forces looking for the artifacts and he got roughed up and needs Raynor to take over while Zeratul's forces regrounp

 

i think zeratul got bumb by a terran jeep just like how the zergling was hit by a jeep in sc1. heheh.

uhm... maybe he was fighting a xelnaga. omg! if zeratul was injured that easily... it will really be the end of mankind. xelnaga will rule!

 

I am betting he is leading around a small group of forces away from the rest of the Protoss that got overwhelmed. Remeber the Dark Moon mission where he came in with only I think it was him plus 4 DAs and that was it pluss the arbiter that warped them in. He is like Jimmy low on resources.
