You Do Not Know SC2s Release Date

To all members, new and old: topics concerning the release date of StarCraft 2 are not allowed unless you can cite Blizzard Entertainment as the source of the information.

-A store posting a release date, and offering pre-orders for SC2 is not a valid source. It does not matter how massive said store is.

-A website speculating about or proclaiming the release date is not a valid source. It does not matter how massive said site is.

-Some guy, ranting and raving on the street, is not a valid source. It does not matter how massive said guy on the street is.

The release date of SC2 will probably be Big News. It is not something that the retailers will know before us. It will very likely come as a major announcement, again, from Blizzard.

The title of this post is a very strong assumption. Someday, there will be a person that views it, and they will in fact know the release date, and the title to this thread will be totally wrong.

To that person, sometime in the foggy future: this thread's not for you. You've heard it straight from the horse's mouth, and know better than I do. You can totally back up your claim, and will. Good for you.

To everyone else: stop it. It's annoying.

In short: do not post topics proclaiming StarCraft 2's release date.
