Yet, another hero from the past is about to revive for the second time

I'm not entirely sure as to whether there is another post about this, but I couldn't find one.

While discovering the fact that Jim Raynor is going to be having his original voice actor back, I discovered an interesting plotline tidbit on IMDB.

The story follows the events happened in "StarCraft: Brood War". There is a new threat caused by an ex-terran Samir Duran. The remains of the Terran forces must gather and ally the Protoss against the infected Zerg army. Another plot line follows Jim Raynor, a marshal, who has to confront the Zerg queen - Kerrigan, with the help of the dark templar Zeratul. Yet, another hero from the past is about to revive for the second time.. The final battle of good and evil is about to take place...

A second revival of Fenix would be... interesting to say the least, though I have no idea how they would justify how he survived. Or maybe The Overmind is coming back for one last attempt to take over the Universe. Theorycraft away!

 

Since this hasn't been seen anywhere else I can't really call it truely solid evidence however we have very few leads on the story so far so any info is good info.


I don't think its fenix as blizzard already stated he wasn't coming back, neither is tassadar, the only candidate i can think of overmind, which would make quite a lot of sense...... The again it could be some random dragoon (since in many ways they "died" once then were put into the dragoons)

 

Well, I agree that IMDB isn't an rather reliable source, but I think it would be an interesting plot twist (if repetitive).

 

They made all that up. Isn't imdb peer edited also?

 

i've seen more made up things, i saw a site which said that the classic starcraft races were terran, UEd and xel'naga and the new ones in sc2 were zerg protoss, and the kerrigans

I think Blizzard isn't planning to do another Medivh since in WC3 it was rather random and strange... not to mention that I'm pretty sure they stated that they don't want to revive any dead characters.

It seems interesting, but I'd rather they don't pull the same trick again.

 

I thought Blizzard said you can't play as Kerrigans, but if Fenix came back that would be awsome. I also hope to see others like Duke and Mengsk

 

Duke is dead, and Mengsk will be back obviously. The Kerrigan issue is because of him.

 

Well maybe duke survived the crash of his bc from that mission? Maybe in an escape pod or something? I mean it would make sense. Another possibility is that Sarah kerrigan is going to return with knowledge on how to defeat the zerg,

I'd love to see Fenix back, but it wont happen. Too bad really, he was a great hero.

 

he survived the crash of norad 2. theres a mission where raynor had to save him from the crash site. he officially died in the brood war zerg campaign where you kill both duke and dragoon fenix in the same mission.

Maybe they're talking about Stukov (who was confirmed brought back by Metzen).

This isn't the only unreferenced info I've seen around. There's a persistent rumor that there are many zerg frozen on Braxis (which doesn't even make sense, considering how Braxis was melted in Resurrection IV).
