I'm a bit surprised. I was going to take this with a huge grain of salt because I expected Adam and Morgan instead of actual information. I'd kinda like to see the full length of whatever ZvP they showed there. Also, it's nice to hear verbal confirmation of an '09 release
it was sortave a bunch of nothing until i watched it 3 times to understand what they were talking about. saying beta only 6-10 times didnt help me understand but as Kaaraa said, i like hearing that it will come out in '09. Zerks
Isn't it possible Chris Sigaty meant he's looking forward to open the sc2 beta and bnet 2 beta in 2009?
its a new thing implented in the game. they have talked about how they now have units that fire range weapons move a little bit in like the warp ray....or is it only for air.... either way what it essentially does is makes it easier for you to kill a unit that is running away. so you get the void ray to start its beam while its moving, although slowing down the beam gets stronger, since your still moving you can get those extra hits on the enemy to kill it. -Zerks
The point was to stop units moving slightly out of range of the void ray and coming back thereby resetting the void ray. although this video won't work for me i shall look for it on youtube later
Does anyone else think this thread should be getting a lot more attention. I mean, they did say that they want to release a beta for more people to try out the game.
Blizzard isn't very good with sticking to dates, but an entire year may be big enough for them to hit it. As for the beta, that's very interesting. Maybe they'll open up a limited closed to the BlizzCon people first, and then open it up to the entire internet (you thought getting into the CoD4 beta was hard, try this lol).
No, we'd rather speculate on whether or not we'll buy the collector's edition and what we'll do in the first 48 hours of receiving this game LOL
