It has been confirmed: this movie will fail. Source: Halo movie. That one has freaking Peter Jackson and Microsoft behind it, and it failed before even being released! And before anybody comes whining about Spiderman and such: those are comic games. Most of the real game movies either suck, or don't even get released. I'm not falling for the hype this time. Call me a pessimist, but there have been enough let downs lately involving Blizzard.
This movie has been confirmed ages ago wasn't it? They even had the director or someone in charge of the movie come and give a talk about it. Anyway: Knowing Blizzard I sincerely think that the movie will not be as much of a fail as other movies based on games. But it will hardly be summer blockbuster.
It will probably be a decent movie, sell decently on the first few days, then set the internet aflame in pure agony.
Most movies in general these days suck at least coming out from the US. I would actually like to see why you guys think it will be bad etc and actually contribute to something for a change instead saying useless comments similar to "lol fail" I have no idea about this movie so i can't really say either way besides the fact most movies have been very poor in the last decade in my opinion. So this movie could actually be a surprise and be good or be medicore like all the rest.
Movies have slowly been rising back to good from suckish lately. Such as zombie land, T4, Splinter, and a couple others.
In my opinion, Terminator should have stopped after the second movie. Luckily, at least the new Sarah Connor Chronicles ignore the last two mother. It will fail for a couple of obvious reasons. 1. It's very likely to be delayed, a lot. What happens when potential hits get delayed? The expectations go up. So the hype gets chief and bigger, and that's bound to cause disappointments. 2. It's based on Warcraft 3. As far as I understand, it's based on the games. It's impossible to incorporate all the lore from the games into the movie properly. Check other movies based on games. Resident Evil, anyone? That means that most of the fans are going to be disappointed. 4. Who says it's coming out at all? Halo, anyone? Thought all that was a bit obvious. Hence the lol fail-ish response.
