In this thread, if you're gonna buy a game,
post it here so we could discuss it.

I'm thinking of getting Red Faction: guerrilla.

If you haven't watched at least 1 of the commercials, here's the run down:

You go to mars with the Earth Defence Force and liberate the citizens, except with out the liberate part. The EDF imprisoned and you rebel to help them...
They send tanks and cruisers to quell the rebellion but of course, you got explosives.

    Who wins?

Every building is destructible, enemy sniper, blow up his tower, tank use your uber jack hammer and smash the poor thing to pieces

    What do you think?

    EDIT: heres a video

well i played the demo and as the graphics and the destruction is all very good the storyline is very linear and at times it is very difficult to kill enemys as your melee powers are great but what lacks is your ranged.. and since all the enemys have ranged they kill you before you can get to them to smash them in the face..

    thats just my opinion.

    i loved the graphics.

Another Halo clone imo but nevertheless, impressive. The riding part was superb.

Red faction 2 was pretty fun...not great but ok.

Red Faction 1 was fantastic. The multi player maps really allowed you to make new paths through the levels, dig in little camp sites, or blow a back door into someone else's camp site.

Halo clone? Both of the original games respective to each series were released 2001.
If you are talking about the latest installments; Halo isn't a 3rd person shooter with geomod.
