when completeling all the levels, you enter an portal and end up some years later in black mesa enter the train (wich you used in the first) and then fade out. so, basicly, Gordon is in an endless spiral. for ever... and no questions answered about stuff you've been wondering over (ie. G-man) I would have gone rampage at the half-life team...
Date of release January 1st. New maps New guns New special infected 2 New modes Let's revolution the game industry
What's that supposed to mean? Anyway, the worst case scenario for a half life game is that it probably gives you a crowbar AGAIN next part.
Thats because the crowbar is like the signature of the Half-life series. I would be surprised if they didn't put one in.
And the standard pistol is the trademark weapon in many other games, but that doesn't diminish it's high crap factor. At least let him have a knife or something. Or throw rubble at enemies along with the crowbar.
No, it isn't, its nothing like the standard pistol or anything. I dunno I guess you had to be in the era where Half-life 1 first came out and a long time fan to understand.
I must confess that I haven't actually played any of them yet myself. The expectations are so high, that this is probably one of those games where I'm going to get disappointed. But uhm, I had a Commodore 64. I was already gaming before anybody ever thought of first person shooters.
Half life 1 reminded players of the earlier FPS days with it's Quake-esque installations in the later part of the game. Also, it gets exceedingly difficult on 'Hard' near the end, especially the boss battle with a giant, alien mastermind. Re-playability factor? Probably limited. Half life 2? It's a great game, the art direction and atmosphere strongly reminds us of a dystopia, waiting to crush our lives at any given moment. Everything seems so realistic, even now. The weapons are fun, and the upgraded gravity gun easily overshadows the BGF. Talk about ultra physics power.
