Hey I'm running star craft 2 on a windows vista with the standard graphics card and stuff. I have the lowest graphic setting and still loading times in campaign and custom games are 5-6 minutes and in multiplayer whenever there is a big battle I lag a lot. I have 28.9 GBS free and stop all unnecessary services and programs on my hard drive when I play .I heard people can run it on XP fine so I'm wondering what the problem is. Someone told me increasing my RAM in virtual memory could help could someone explain or have any other ideas how to speed it up like try reinstalling it or something?

    RAM will definitely help.

What kind of a video card do you have?

This is why we ask that you post your full dxdiag. In Vista, press Win+R and type in dxdiag. After it runs, if you are on 64-bit windows, click "run 64-bit dxdiag" at the button. Also check "Check WHQL Signature" after running the 64-bit version. Click "Save all information..." and you will get a text file. Zip/rar this text file and then attach it to a post.

This report will tell us everything we need to know about your system to give you advice.

Yeah, I need you to save the entire report, this doesn't tell me nearly enough. Click "Save all information..." Then zip/rar the report and attach it to your post.

Only thing I get out of this is, you need more RAM.

Yeah can you go to performance in control panel then the advanced tab then change the virtual memory amount? and if so what amount do I put it to? Also I heard going to BIOS or something or changing some options?

If you know of any other ways of increasing RAM without buying something or do I have to buy something.
