I thought since sc2 looks really good and everyone is looking foward to it, when it's released there probably would significantly reduced numbers in the original sc1 bnet players changing to sc2. On the other hand sc1 is such a good RTS that maybe a little more majority would still play on it. I reckon that nearly everyone will go and play on sc2 bnet for a little while then come back crawling to sc1. Feedback! Feedback! Feedback! Feedback! Feedback! Feedback! Feedback! Feedback! Feedback!
I think there will be more people playing becuse it will be the best game ever made. Welcome aboard me555! :good:
Maybe. i doubt very many people will have the specs to play it (IE me) when it first comes out. After a year: Maybe. By then if people don't like it, they'll switch to BW again.
if it's as balanced as SC1, I think more people will play it just for the better graphics. If it's not as balanced, then no, clearly more people will stay onto SC1. But I do think, either way, some people will return to playing SC1 even if it's just for the sake of playing with some old units (reaver, queen, etc) that didn't make the cut.
Yes because alot of people don't play SC1 because it is old so SC2 will get many more new gamers onoard
Right now the SC1 population is quite small, since many people have moved on to other games. When SC2 comes out, it'll probably have one of the most massive number of players.
There's no doubt about it unless SC2 is a horrible game. There is no reason to play SC1 anymore unless, as I stated before, SC2 does not live up to be a SC sequel. It's like comparing WC2 to WC3, granted SC1>>>>>>>>>WC2...
i think sc2 will be played more at first, and then it will be determined how well the game is to see if people will go back
just because sc2 is out don't mean i'll stop playing sc1 i go back and play old games read old books all the time
yes probably and if sc2 doesnt have any use map setting games, i would go back to sc1 to play use map setting games but normal games...dude...its liek sc2 man its totally liek sc2
