Will the Craft run on my system? -- ThinkPad T400

  1. Hey StarCraft community, I'm wondering if I can get some advice on whether or not StarCraft 2 should run on my system. I've got a laptop and I'd like to get some opinions before shelling out the big bucks for the hot new game.

    I've got a ThinkPad T400.

    Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8700 (2.53GHz 1066MHz 3MBL2)
    Windows 7 64-bit
ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 with 256MB (How's the graphics card? Will it hold up?)
    4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
250 GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm

I think that's all the relevant info, let me know if you guys need anything else. Thanks in advance!

I don't see why it wouldn't run. Prob have to run everything on medium, but I think it would be fine.

I doubt that the slow graphics chip will make the game enjoyable. The 3470 Mobility is not really faster than most integrated graphics chips. It might work on lowest graphics settings.

Anything is faster then an integrated Intel.... ANYTHING. With StarCraft II though, its hard to tell. Maybe get a guest key from someone and try it before you buy?
