Hi all. I apologize if that question has already been asked before. I searched for an answer, but didn't find it. So I wonder : Imagine that .... in two years ..... when Starcraft 2 should be released ... I decide to play with this game against another player, a neighbor, or a cousin ,or I don't know who. So I just buy ONE DVD-ROM of Starcraft 2, and install it in my own future computer. After that I connect the computer of my neighbor, or my cousin, etc ... with my own computer. How can we play both of us with Starcraft 2 if I only install this game in MY computer, not the other one ?
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Spawn copies are dead You wll av to buy two coies of the game
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Lol, nice spelling BoP. You might be able to play via UDP through Hamachi. I've done this on another RTS game, both computers had the game installed but there was only one disc, so I hosted a game with the cd in the drive and once I had created the game, I took the CD out and inserted it in the other pc and he started it all up then joined my game. I guess this worked cuz by the time I had taken it out all of the required data was cached or something.
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Yes but i dont think that would work with SC2
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? I think the real problem is that the both of you have different modem And by the way, is SC2 is already out in America? O_O
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Emm Zergalicious I've got a problem with hamachi, noone can see the servers I create, and I can't see other servers, only if I enter just right when the other creates the game.
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Go to network connections > Tools > Advanced Tools > then put hamachi at the top of the list (this may not be the exact order but its something along them lines, I think I missed one out.) Only other thing I can think of is your firewall is blocking Hamachi.
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? It doesn't, I checked it, but I will try to move it to the tom thank you for the idea
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Not my PC, not my keyboard (this one sucks)
Re: How to play a 1 vs 1 player with an INTERNE network ? Ah that explains it. I hate when I use other keyboards, especially if they keys are real stiff.
