Why Starcraft 2 is a terrible game

I have had enough of this bull**** and I'm quitting this game.

I was just against a total noob terran player who built, before expanding: three barracks, two starports, a factory and tech upgrades. I easily wiped out his defenses, but lost my observer and the attacking force was completely eradicated by invisible banshees.

Half a minute later, at the other end of the map the banshees took out all my probes. I had an observer ready, but forgot to put it in a control group. By the time I had found it I lost all my probes.

When I have another force ready, my opponent does marine spam. By this time I've run out of vespien, so it's GG.

Yes, I made a mistake. I forgot to put the observer in a control group. The point is this. Protoss players cannot get away with making A SINGLE mistake against even a totally clueless noob of a Terran player.

To seal the deal, the SC2 community just doesn't listen. I have started two threads in which I raised legitimate balance issues. One was moved to space junk and the other was locked. In this climate of not tolerating ANY complaint about balance issues apart from some petty quibble, the game can never be improved. I for one am not going to waste any more time on a broken game.

 

I, for one, will not miss you. I locked your thread because it was a duplicate one. I left your non-SJ thread intact to discuss the issue but you are reluctant to post a replay or remain sensible about your issue with early T pressure.

Maybe you'll find a different hobby that you'll get more entertainment out of.

 

Also, it might be noted that we can't improve balance. You need blizzard forums for that.

 

The fact is, it is obviously a terribly unbalanced game. Protoss cannot get away with making a single mistake against even noob Terran players who don't know anything but marine spam and banshee harassment. If the SC2 community were honest and intelligent enough to admit that the game is flawed, then Blizzard might do something about it.

i don't see why you absolutely must play toss, then. i play it because i like the small margin for error (the thing ur complaining about). couldn't u just play the 'most op race' and crush anyone who doesn't? expose your human nature and exploit this supposed imbalance. just noticed.. unbalanced =/= imbalanced. grammar ftw

 

Could go Terran. It amazes me though that Protoss players don't complain more. I have seen many threads in which people raise the exact same complaints that I have. They're in the same position as peasants were under feudalism.

 

no. no they aren't. In fact, there is nothing the same.



It's probably because protoss do have the most fun units and mechanica. They can actually "beam in" small armies. Or the entire army, using mass recall. Protoss might be harder to play, they do get the most applicable micro, which makes them fun at higher levels.

cept that in sc1, it was a bit harder to mass rine and win...

your mistake: not enuff obs. you know he has banshees, thats a VERY obvious and GIGANITIC mistake. You dont bring a knife to a gun duel. you bring a freakin sniper rifle.

rines. ez to counter. you shud have some stalkers maybe a sentry to fend off banshees, VRs. rines means just zlots + charge, with the rest of your army you win.
in fact, stop QQing cuz you know what? the world sux. life sux. luck sux.

People don't complain more because they aren't six years old. Life isn't about whining. You made mistakes and got beat, that happens believe it or not.

You've posted no replays about your play or anything at all. The terran player wasn't producing out of all of those all the time with only one base. Is it mildly cheap and an all in? Absolutely, but terran isn't the only race with an all in. Ever heard of a four gate? or a 6 pool? or a roach rush?

On the internet, people think they can whine and people will put up with their whining. Go quit the game and find something that you don't complain about. Maybe go outside? Or take up cooking...something...

So, your opponent tech switched... why didn't you? A few more obs to spy on your opponent would of helped.
Also, not paying attention to your minimap is a common mistake. I guilty of it too and loosing some workers.
Colossus or Psi Storm would of sufficed for the marines.

I'm guessing they don't complain because they aren't noobs and actually know how to use the race...sorry, but someone had to say it.

 

All I have to say, is to stop QQing, and stop insulting forum members who are trying to help you (kuvasz, in your locked thread, for example). They're trying to HELP you, ffs, they're the last ones you should bash on.

Btw, you could've compensated your mistake for not bringing your observer, simply by running your probes away when searching for the obs. This is just an expample, but what I want to say is: It wasn't 1 mistake you made, it were several. You CAN get away with 1 mistake, but not with several. Neither can Zerg or Terran.
Then again, post a replay, the guys here would've loved to help you (if you weren't so BM)

Also, marines are pretty easy to counter. Just use forcefields, guardians, zealots, stalkers... - wait, why am I even helping you? ..

 

you folks do know this guy is trolling you right? just ignore the troll and it'll go away, feed it and it'll stay around forever.

 

Seeing as how Jon banned him I don't see many reasons to keep this open.
