why do the most "porplayers" in replays sooooooooooooo a late rax?

the most peolpe in replay make their rax with 12-14 food, i dont understand it, with my 8pool starter ill kill them bevor the game rly starts!? are they saying no rush at beginn?? i know most player want to stable their eco first, but whats eco without defence? the soonest rush games ive seen on youtube are 6pool rush from zerg, whats completly nonsense becouse with my 8pool rush im just some seconds late with my 6 zergling but have a much better eco...

so why most of the players in youtube replays arent prepaired for rush??? and arent rushing?

with terran i make 8/11 rax, then with 8/11 raffenerie, build worker to 10/11. when exrtacor rdy instant get worker in - when rax rdy get techlab, then one suplyport, 11/11 i make 1st reaper and next the speed upgrade.. all "iam fast expand zerg" will die.. all "ill mass zealots" will die... all "i need eco and make 10/11 suply and late rax" will die....

with toss i make to with 8/10 pylon, then wait and make gateway with 8/10.. then pushing 4 drones with 2xspeedup, gettin exrtactor and fast 2 zealots with speedup for antirush

with zerg 8pool rush(ill have 10 drones and verry verry fast 6 zergling with 2+2 coming )


the original starcraft starter is a rush!!!! did i have only seen noobreplays on youtube?

 

Just wondering.. are you fluent in English? Was it your first language?

 

Perhaps those replays aren't showing top ranked diamond league players like yourself.

They will scout your rush with a worker, and then one of the following happens:

Terran: the next 100 minerals goes straight toward building a redundant supply depot at his ramp to completely wall off. He then gets 1-2 marines to kill any zerglings trying to muscle their way in. Rush failed, opponent reaps his economic advantage.

Protoss: sends 4 probes to his ramp to stall while he chrono boosts his zealot. Once the zealot is out and parked between the choke created by the pylon and gateway, you would need 12+ zerglings to get through that zealot as your lings can only attack one at a time. Rush failed, opponent reaps his economic advantage.

Zerg: he'll micro his drones around to avoid getting picked off by lings, then he'll plant a spine crawler, get a queen, and make his own lings. Rush failed, opponent reaps his economic advantage.

 

i dont send my first rush zerglings to kamikaze aktion! ill look what i can destroy, but if he is prepaired enough i turn back and wait for bangelings
and with my fast queen, and i make fast expand with 2nd queen to during i rush, i have so much larva that i can get sooo fast economic when i see there is no way to rush in

then i guess your opponent isn't that great at scouting or harassing then =\


Quick Tip: Get fire fox and get spell check add-on, and for the mean time, whatever abbreviations you are trying to use, don't use them.

its because the pro players scout, and can see that their opponent isn't doing anything fishy... So they are free to get their economy up.
It only takes 1-2 zealots to stop you from doing your stupid 8 pool.

 

You are the kind of players I rip through when they do what you do. I scout, see banelings, get sentries, force field and trap, finish them off, see that they have expanded thus having weak defense, push, easy win. Seriously, early cheese doesn't work against diamond players.

 

yeah but the most people there go scout with their 9th drone and often later... at this time the scout is coming in my base i allrdy build 6 zerglngs....

 

Still easy to defend with workers with proper micro. Zerling is very good in large numbers and when they surround but workers surrounds zerglings and zerglings melt.

 

yes against protoss its not soo easy with protoss i have the most problems.. and im playing in diamond league. but all of them do a 8 or 9 food pylon and get fast warppoint or smith...

 

i have micro!! You cant surround my zergling with workers, and u cant kill them becouse i pull them back and make hit and run!!! i often see kamikaze aktions from other player who send his first 6 zergling to the worker and let them get killed... im not a player like this.... im happy when u attack with workers! i run back and your workers doesnt get minerals, you go back to work i attack, and so on...

 

By the time you're doing that, gateway/spawning pool/barrack is done. There are reasons why pros don't do early rush cheeses. It doesn't work. Your macro is hurting already from the rush, pulling workers off for few seconds won't make you win.

 

i dont understand.. i only make zergling at begin and have 10 workers at mineral.. i get enought money to puch zerglings/queen and expand.. after 10 zergling i get some worker to when the 1st rush fail. and i hav enough money to tech and push army.....im not doing a 6 pool rush!! i have my eco standing and latest with expand it gets more and more like my zerglings xD

i mean i get with 10 workers more minerals that i can spend in zerglings becouse there not enough larva, so i can expand and tech during i rush... zerglings very cheap

and its only my starter! as i say i can expand and tech during the rush... so the rush is used that my opponend have to get early defence at the cost of eco! and when they dont get its allrdy win. the next attackwave depend on race and units u do, im playin zerg, im the one who attacks FOR THE SWARM!!!!

Just because you are not good enough to handle rushes at 6-8 pool doesn't mean the top players can't as well.

They can handle the rushes but still can be beaten with it yes, but they are being much more effective.

You're forgetting by going 6-7 pool your econ is **** compared to other player. Don't talk about how 6-7 pooling can still get you good econ even if you manage to expand.

Not to mention a pro by that time would have scouted and saw that you have **** for an army when you expanded. Perfect time for a push and get your expansion killed.

Seems like you're failing to make your point so you come up with the most absurd accusation to defend your strat. It doesn't work against pros PERIOD

 

i never said something like 6 or 7 pool rush... i make my pool at 8 food and then i get another 3 workers.... so i have good enough eco for lings/tech/expand... and its just a starter....
AND in meantime ive found some realy nice rushgames from whtera and other good players
but just talking isnt realy helpful! i need the release!!! and i hope we will make then some 1vs1 that u can proof that i am wrong with my starter
