Why did you start playing Starcraft?

What made you start playing Starcraft 2?

 

Mine was a a bit different. I played WOW and heard that this was good too, so I gave it a shot.

 

My Father introduced me to Starcraft brood war back in 2009 i think and at first i didn't really like it but i eventually learned to play it well.
And so i searched around on the net for some more info and just there was the inroduction to Starcraft 2 released
and i decided to check it out.
As the beta came up and all the commentators started commentating i slowly grew more and more addicted
and eventually i bought the game on its release (my sister actually bought it before me xD)
