So I've been in bronze for about 3 months and since I got put in bronze I've improved a ton. I've beat silver players, gold players and bronze players ranked number 1 in higher divisions. How can i move up?
Because of our limited knowledge of the MM system, the generic answer is: "Just keep winning; it'll happen." I was in the same boat - winning constantly for weeks and getting tired of my bronze tag. Think of it this way, when you beat a gold guy and he checks your profile, he's gonna feel owned cause he got beat by a bronzer. Just stick with it, keep getting better and you'll eventually be promoted.
You will be placed where you should be placed, I thought it would never promote me to masters league, I kept at it for 2 days of playing, winning 80% of my games. I continued beating people who were slightly favored, or favored, don't lose the even games, and win the ones that count. Don't get down though if you lose to someone who was favored. It can hurt your confidence, when it shouldn't.
Okay It helps to know that I'm not the only one that's having this problem. I was also surprised to see how easy it is to get ranked down. Me and my partner lost a couple in silver and we got booted all the way down to bronze and now we're like 17th.
