Why Are You So excited?

I've ever been this exited for a game...lol.

you mean excited? everyone on this forum is feeling the same as you. although sources have put the release date for the game to be october 2008. we still have to wait because it's better to give blizzard some time to make it perfect.

True true, even though i do want it now or soon.
The wait will just improve everything to the best it can be, imagine though the day before it comes out, how many people will be so siked for it.

I have strong faith that the game will worth the wait : There are many new games around to help you kill off your extra time.

Yep I just baught C&C 3 Tiberium wars, allthough i do think Generals was a lot better :-\

Generals sucks, it wasn't even really an c&c game with the work like builder gameplay.

This is madness! I hate Blizzard.

They shoved all this SC2 into me with such a long wait left, then they went cold turkey on me immediately after.

When I finally get over the pain of not having SC2 and the withdraw symptoms, just barely surviving the long nights of trembling on my bathroom floor foaming at the mouth, you know what Blizzard will do.

When I'm finally about to cope with the reality of not having SC2 and try to move on with my sad life somehow, that's when they'll release a single drop of an ant's piss worth of info just to get my heart racing and my world crazy again.

Blizzard will keep repeating this viscious cycle til one of two things happen. Either I die first from my heart exploding and the rest of my body just shuting down being unable to take any more torture. -OR- Blizzard finally decides that maybe they really have to release the freakin game cuz they've just been pulling that crap for too long.

 

The only reason why i am excited is because that its been roughly around ten years since i've heard anything about Sc2 thats been tottaly positivley confirmed, and the fact that the story and gameplay gets better.
how about you peeps ;D?

 

because i love the starcraft universe and want to know what ends up happening

 

Need a new RTS. Ea's failed attempts do not count.

Starcraft was a beautifully done game.
I need to know what happens.
Blizzard is at the top of my game company favorite list.

 

Starcraft was basically my favorite game of all time.
3 very cool races soo well balanced and yet soo distinctive. Yet Blizzard is going to make the 3 races even more distinctive makes me want play it right away.

Bring on SC2!

 

Hmm lets see.. Im excited because the old version was the most balanced/fun/strategic/balanced/fun/strategic/cool game in existence and SC > WC1 + WC2 + WC3 + WoW + WoW BC + D1 + D2 + Every other game made by every other company in the history of mankind. Basically starcraft was the coolest game ive ever played and it still is today. Im positive #2 will be better than #1 because blizzard has learned alot after 10 years of watching #1 being played. They know what units are liked/disliked. If you doubt blizzards balancing for a second I will cyber punch you. Warcraft 3 was so balanced it was uncool. They focused so much on balancing that the game lost its sense of fun. I know for a fact that they will fix some things in a patch like maybe protoss will have a really good rush and win 50.0000001% of the time (lol).
Has blizzard let us down yet? Cmon--------- you know the answer. NO!!!!!!! They never have and im sure they wont let us down on probably their most expected game ever. (did anyone expect WoW so much?) Also just for you people who hate change, would you want a 3D version of Starcraft 1 cuz thats pretty much all I hear from you people. I will agree the new siege tanks are a lil rediculous looking (see avatar) but im sure they will fix/change it. After all its just a little bit of modeling. But anyways back on topic and to sumarize, I'm excited because I really love #1 and it has fascinated me with its strategy and uniquness for years.

Cuz it's starcraft, which is still the reigning king of the RTS universe, and Blizzard hopes to make Starcraft 2 even better than the first, which is why we're excited. If you didn't know that, well, this is called STARCRAFT2forum.org

 

Sc1 is imo one of 2 most popular RTS, the other one is Age of Empires 2
SC has the best units, all races look difrently, it has a very cool story
AoE is something for ppl who like history , all the middleages weapons, castles, ale the system of advenceing to other ages

SC2 will be a a huge thing like all games made by Blizzard, it will be cool to see the old units look new, wyth cool detales, to see old friends, and kick some Zerg ass
