Whos our best fourm players?

Ok guys I know most of you will say like Jon and Ych and normally I would agree with that. This thread is mainly for me becuase I want to hear about some other people. I've played or watched Jon and Ych play so I know how good they are but I want to hear from them who they think is good. I dont mean our one best person I mean like the top 5 or 10. Also the main people I want to know about (from someone who has played them) is how good Praetor Fenix is and most of all our awesome admin. I seem to remember that someone said he was awesome but I dont remember.

Any way guys discuss and tell who you think is really good, and Ych/Jon can you tell me about our Admin, I'm pretty sure you've played him. Also anyone played Fenix that can tell me how good he is?

I did search for this topic but couldn't find any.

I'm dead serious when I say that most, if not all people, on this forum could beat me. I completely blow at multiplayer.

 

can't be much worse than me, with my 2:3 ratio of wins v loses. And most of my wins are because of excellent allies.

I mostly play LAN actually.

If I can tech, then I'm average, but I blow against early rushes.

 

I am pretty good at harassing and early rushes but my skills have degraded since the last time I played with Ych9 and Joneagle_X. But why rate who is the best when we can all equally have fun (while getting owned by the best forum players!)

Z-Boson is a very good player.

Played a 1vs1 game with him where he beat me but was a well fought out game. I haven't gotten a chance to play him again in a rematch :-\. I probably won't be able to play these days too because final exams and projects are coming along :-[.

As for our admin, his a decent player. He hasn't played SC1 in a very long time when I played with him. But I can say for sure that he isn't as rusty compared to when I first came back after a 5 year break of SC.

Since you guys already know Jon's skilllevel, I won't comment on it than . I was the one that actually got him into using Protoss and he is using it very efficiently.

But for best forum players, I don't believe it's either me, or Jon, or Z-Boson. There must be someone lurking around that doesn't post much that could single handily toy me. Because to be honest, I'm not that great. I watched plenty of replays on http://sc.gosugamers.net/ this past couple of days and I'm not even half as good as most of them. If any of them watched a replay of me playing, the only words that would come out of their mouth would be, "Geeze, I can't believe you guys are calling this guy a good player. "

On another note, 10-Neon is a good player. On top of that, he knows quite a bit of skilled players.

But I think I can tell you guys know who would soon to be the best player in the forum. It's one of my friends that I have known on b-net 8 years ago. I'm trying to get him to play SC again but just like me, he hasn't played the game for like 5-6 years old. I'm trying to tell to join the forums and once his joined, I think I can declare him as the best player in our forum.

I don't know how to describe his skill, but his micro is boxer like. He was actually the one that basically teached me how to play SC efficiently. He taught me all the basics and trained me day and night. (well not really trained me but we played against each other all the time with the record been like 100-0 ). During his prime, myself and another buddy of mine which is roughly equally skilled as me could not take him out in a 2vs1 match. We managed to beat him a few games but not with him dominating us at a ratio of like 5-1 (which is very very sad for a 2vs1 game and I feel embarrassed to mention it :-\). He could stop a double teammed zealot rush with nothing but probes and it's amazing how he micros with it and delays until he gets some forces up. It's like a work of art. I can tell you that he could have joined the leagues easily if it wasn't for school.

If only I could persuade him to join the forums and come back and play SC, you guys will see how much of a noob I really am. :-\

He was the best SC player I have ever played before. What's funny is that even though I knew him on b-net, he lived in the exact same city as me . Back in the days, we would have SC internet cafe lan tournments and he would always take first place in a dominating fashion. He was just that good.

Too bad, he quit SC because of schoolwork because I believe with his skill and talent in the world of SC, he could have easily joined the pro SC gaming leagues and perhaps be a well known celebrity just like Boxer.

He hasn't played for like 5-6 years just like me so he isn't what he used to be. But I'm willing to bet that he could skill kick my ass after a few warm-up games.

And I'm still trying to make him come back and play SC. :-\

 

Well since his friend isn't playing we should get Ych himself or Jon to teach us... maybe even boson

Or we could get our awesome admin to teach us!! (<< yeah right thats as likely to happen as me beating jon and ych And z-boson at the same time)
