Who will be our beta-tester ?

Hi.

I want to know who will be our official starcraft2forum.org beta-tester.

As we, the members who will not test this game, will never nor see nor hear nor even enjoy those units and buildings in action, I would like that a person here in this forum to be our official beta-tester for this game.

This person will have for task (this is a suggestion) to create videos of missions he/she is playing. This person is invited to make comments and give accurate details of everyting : units, health, rank, range, shield, damage, etc ....
As most of us can't judge this game this tester will be our eyes and our ears to allow us to give suggestions.

Some testers are invited to summon infos and to bring them to ONE official tester who will provide us with comments and videos.

If my computer's strong enough, and if I do win a key, I'll share as much as beta testers can.

In talking about voices, I meant there are sounds too to be judged. Personally I dislike the voice of the marine when he dies. I dislike the SCV's one too.

 

Tits and a half? If Blizzard/StarCraft 2 is so damn awesome wouldn't they be the whole two tit yards?

 

I will use my screen capture application to capture and records videos of me playing STARCRAFT!

I hope whoever gets the beta has a hardware video recorder (like me) so that we get something of decent quality.

 

Should be plenty of members from here getting keys...

...the problem is getting them to stop playing for long enough to upload videos.

 

Well, if you get an invite and totaly SUCK at sc2 then?

 

Post a game with just the CPU's fighting to see how adaptive and good the AI is.

Sorry, but... must? Who are you? There will probably be several testers from this site, and not all of them might have the necessary things to provide videos and such. And while I would certainly be willing to answer questions and such if I got a key, no way in hell would anyone actually tell me what to do. There's a difference between giving orders and asking for information, the same way as between being helpful and being subservient.

 

I just ask for people who can help.
Is it possible to get ONE official tester. Maybe there can be several ones who can provide the official one with videos and tests. One person who can be the official tester can't make that huge work. There must be several testers who can help the official one to collect a big amount of infos.

I can't be a tester because I suck in playing Starcraft.


@Kuvasz : I just modified my post. I did write a longer text and made some corrections. And made mistakes too. Now it is fixed. Are you glad now ?

 

heh. if I did get a beta key My computer would explode because the graphics would be too much, I wouldn't know how to make a video so sorry.. i would be good at this sort of thing (been playing RTS for five years now).

 

Only five years ?? ... just kidding.

With the release of the battle report there were things that have been fixed, like the ugly voices of the SCV when it dies. Now it blows up ! It is better because it is a machine. There are several things better.

The Queen blew up a banshee when this plane was far from her. ... this should be fixed. And there are some animations, when some units die, that have to be upgraded, but they are still fine.

 

As I said in the other thread - the Queen's attack animation is melee-ish but it's actually ranged, launching spikes.

Also, if we were going to designate someone as our "official beta tester" and to bring so much attention to that person then that would only result in getting that person banned. If we do get an "official beta tester" we damn sure better stick together and not reveal that person's identity.

 

Yes, maybe the administrator should chosse a member to make this official beta-tast. And if there are other beta-testers they can post here, or send their infos to the admin, and this admin sends all those infos to the official beta tester who will summon those infos and create some videos.
