Who is your favourite warrior?

Despite that some of these guys lived in ages apart from each other, despite that some of these guys never really existed in reality, who would you cheer for when they fight for their own survival? Why?

Leonidas all the way. Though Maximus Decimus Meridius is a total badass as well. He would win if he changed his name to one of the following:
Maximus Decimus Titanius
Maximus Gluteus Titanius
Maximus Decimus Badassimus

 

Opps, I picked, Beowulf but I was thinking book.

Here's what I thought:

Beowulf vs. Leonidas : Both scream and lunge, but beowulf is super human, Leonidas is not.
Beowulf vs. Maximus: Maximus is skilled, but he's better at leading then fighting. Beowulf would just scream and lop off his head.

Beowulf vs. Achilles: Tough, with Achilles being invincible and all. But sooner or later, Beowulf will step on his foot.
Beowulf vs. Frodo: Frodo goes emo and leaves. Beowulf wins.

 

Hmm....Leonidas would win, but only if he was given ample time to get over his bad knee

 

Achilles hands down. While he is not my favorite among them, I actually don't like Achilles that much, he is the best warrior. Beowulf would be the only real challange. I haven't seen the movie but I've read most of the epic. He has immence strength but I'm guessing Achilles is stronger.

Leonidas and Maximus are both better leaders than pure warriors. As far as Frodo goes well, why not just replace him with someone who actually has a chance of winning, Gilgamesh or Hercules, or Ajax. You know, a real hero, not a joke.

 

Frodo if he has the Ring. He goes invisible and kills everyone.

 

I laughed when I saw King Leonidias up there, because I thought you meant from real life, Frodo would probably stand a better chance XD

Genghis Khan would die to every single one of these people as most of them have some special attribute and Genghis Khan was just a human. A very successful human, but only a human.

 

I think you should compare real people. I mean, might as well throw spider-man and wolverine into the mix.

Beowulf and Achilles are really the only ones up there with special powers. Although assuming Achilles was a real person he didnt really have any special powers. He just acquired that attribute through stories told. Genghis would make a pin-cushion out of him.

Beowulf if a real person in history, was just a normal guy. However he could just be a fable. If he was real he meets the same fate as Achilles.

However, Genghis Khan would still work all of them, powers or not. He would just ride circles around them, fillin em up with arrows.

Beowulf would pwn Achilles hands down. Just lure him into water, can Achilles hold his breath for entire day while fighting? I think not

THis poll is pretty much the previous "who would win" fights that I have at some point or another put together. The conclussion is that Achilles kills Beowulf, Leonidas smacks up Brad Pitt's heel, Leonidas goes made with the bloodshed of all his foes to the point where he kills himself in order to kill them all over and over again like a monotonous button masher, and Russel Crowe shows up with supermodel in one hand and 15 pounds worth of diamonds that he recieved from his own personal African diamond mining slave hole in the other and steps on Gimli

All in all...my heart DOES break everytime I watch either 300, Gladiator, or Troy

actually i might reconsider gimli there or anyone from lord of the rings. Theres something very different from those epic heroes and lotr. all the other guys died in glory, little frodo there took the easy way out by sailing away .

 

Only Boromir died in battle, and only Aragorn, Pippin and Merry died of old age. The rest went sailing away.
