    Don't get any of the new Fermi cards they generate too much heat....
    Go for the more expensive one but get a different gfx card.

    5850 would be the better choice in that price range. it's already more than powerful enough for SC2.

    Yeah I have to agree. I have a 5850 and it runs sc 2 at ultra with no problem.

    Both will max out, as I'm 2.4x4, 4GB RAM, and a 512 gfx card, and run it beautifully.

    Both are pretty much future proof for the next little while.

    Now. I personally am a huge fan of the i5 processor. It packs a punch, but doesn't break the bank. The i7 is kickass, yeah, but it'll be overkill for the next few years.

    Agreed on these guys with the card, Fermi is no good unless you wanna spring for liquid cooling imo.
