    I have:
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ (2.08 GHz)
    1 GIG RAM
    Nvidia Geforce 6600

I want to upgrade My CPU and Video Card; But only have the money for one right now..
Which Would be better to upgrade in getting my PC ready for new games such as Starcraft 2?

My Motherboard has a 939 Socket for processor
and a PCI Express slot for video card.

Can any one recommend a: Which is best to upgrade 1st and b: With what processor/card in the 150~$ range. Thanks!

No its not. Lol, 2.08 cant even keep up with today's games. Maybe 2.2.

Unless its a generic computer, change the CPU to a AMD Dual Core or maybe a cheap AMD 4000+

For vid card, i recommend anything above Gforce 8800 or ATI HD 2400+

Dont change the CPU UNLESS ITS GENERIC. On something like a eMachines or a Dell, it wont work.

Good luck on finding 939's, those actually just became discontinued. I have one of the last 939 MoBo's from gigabyte lol.

I built the computer Myself, as for finding 939's Tell me about it -_-. but if you _HAD_ to pick just one component to upgrade which do you think would have a better impact?

    Thanks!

I would upgrade your processor. Go buy yourself a nice Dual Core. 3.0 should suffice. It'll run ya $170-200.

I say get a graphics card (maybe an nVidia 8000 series, however an ATi would run better with an AMD processor) and maybe overclock your CPU a little. That should do the trick... hopefully :D

CPU, especially if you aim for SC2. It's generally a good idea to have a more powerful CPU because you can lower graphics settings but you can't lower physics and other crucial calculations.
