    i heard a cheat code in StarCraft1 is named after the players community's name, which one?

    Some people did something, I don't remember what they did, but they called it that.

    They somehow helped Blizzard to release StarCraft earlier. I tried looking from StarCraft wikia but in every version of the article there was something about an evil plan for world domination, so the rest of the text is probably false too.

    That is cause they aren't releasing specifics. I heard of this from a video. Some blizz guy was talking.

    Opreation CWAL was a fan fiction. That is all. It's all in good humor. Don't take it too seriously.

    And, no, they had no real effect on StarCraft's release date. That only happened in their fan fiction ... I wonder how that became a myth in the real-world?

    They had no real-life effect on Blizzard. It was only fan fiction. And, in this fan fiction, they liberated StarCraft from the evil Blizzard that would not release the game. It's just something funny to keep the community going. Nothing more.

    Again, I wonder how it somehow became a common misconception that this was a real organization or that they actualy effected the release date?

    It became a myth in real life just like all myths: people keep saying it reall happened.

    Maybe we can make a competition out of guessing the new cheats? Just an idea.

    this maybe should be moved to the spam section as this discussion is like a simple q & a but nevertheless it is about SC so.... uhmmm yeah...

    yeah but its very rare to obtain unlike in warcraft 3 right?? but your right .. and some other more items like the cranium bashers....

    Ive only seen the buriza do kyanon once and it was obtained by my friend which afterwards abused and disposed each and everyone of our characters with that search missile haha.... good ol days...

    u mean flexing as ---- using a barbarian sniper?? hehe that would be brutal with barb along with proper runes to get some good skills...

    anyways... i want to share a short story about real life cheating during my college days....

    -- it was around jan of 2006 and i was at my 2nd year of nursing... in the chemistry class we were given a task to answer a number of pages on our workbook, but little did our teacher knew that we have already been given a queue from our buddies from the other class that she will be giving exams on these pages... so priorly we did a pre-research and answered our workbooks with some markers to perfect the score on that quiz..... therefore we finalized our answers as CACDEFAFDE these ten letters have been a part of my college days along as with some few of my friends.... afterwards when the results turned out it so happens that weve only been able to get 3 right answers on those 10 questions that weve reviewed,.. we laughed out about it and afterwards whenever something comes up like an exam or a quiz., those 10 letters always pops out in the minds of our brotherhood.... those buddies of mine live each among themselves now with different paths, with me being in the drilling industry, others as nurses, others young fathers... and others as bums haha, but no matter what those letters will always be a connection among us friends being united in evil for a common good... lol
