Which are your favourite casters?

I thought at first I'd make it a poll then realised there are too many out there, but in the end thought, oh well, it'd be cool to see it in a poll type anyways even if the options are quite a few...

I'll just add the most common casters I see/know of and add an "Other" option just cause there's too many of them... If I forgot someone, sorry, but just name them in a reply instead... Anyway, here goes!

 

In all honesty Crota knows where its at. He reviews in a style that points out where some one went wrong and right and tells us how it could have been changed. He is a very good reviewer for the strategic viewer and leaves very little open as he discuses almost all points of the game accurately and also knows what he is talking about.

 

It's a mutliple choice poll, but yeah I also like Crota...

I like Crota the most as well.. I feel like he is just smarter than a lot of the other casters, which is nice. He has very logical in depth analyses of games.

Yeah, his casts do have a quite different spark than others... Though I do believe that the most in-depth analysis I've seen is by Idra on the EG/Kingston casts of himself on MLG... Artosis is also awsome in that area....

Other than these, there are more entertaining commentators like husky and totalbiscuit, but I don't really like husky, he's pretty good to get people started on sc2 but gets old quite fast, imo... Totalbiscuit's cynical style never really gets old though when you're looking for entertainment...

If I were to choose my favourite casters and minimise the amount of choices, I'd only pick casters that are not entertainment-only... Here's a list:
Idra, Artosis, Crota, xHydrax, HD and Matron. They have both good analysis(Idra's especially is quite awsome), good pace of talking and nice tone of voice... I'm generally not a fan of people who start saying 259863458623459 words/minute whenever there's a battle going on...

Crota is good but I still like Husky.

 

Picked Psy and Husky, both are funny (although Husky's humour is "repetitive" after some time) and Psy also gives good analysis from a zerg perspective (I don't play zerg though). Don't even know most others...

 

I think Day9 is one of the best out there. Without his commentaries I would be lagging behind considerably. Anyone who plans to be good at StarCraft 2 should check him out !

 

I hope nobody tells Husky about this poll, or else he'll make an announcement about it and we'll have thousands of huskateers flooding the forums to vote for him.

 

To be really honest, the only casters I watch these days are Tasteless + Artosis (Love my daily GSL). I'll catch the occasional Day9 Daily as well.

 

Crota is okay, and I appreciate his work recently, but in my opinion, he needs to control the tempo. At times, he needlessly keeps the listeners on edge with his tone and pace, even if he's saying something like 'the SCV building a supply depot'. I can't take it.

I only picked three: Josh, Matron, Artosis.

Day9, Psy and HD are good too.

Would be interested in hearing Idra though.
