its my birthday today / was my bday yesterday and i can recall john saying that we get gifts on our birthdays..... wheres my gift?

im sorry but i didnt get any on my birthday, but a virtual one still counts.....

This automatic present thing is rigged anyway. What would stop anyone from setting their birthdays for the following day? It needs an axe.

I second that. My birthday is next saturday, -really- but what stops me from setting it to the next day?

Maybe change the permissions for changing that? In a way that only mods can edit it, for example. If you set it right, there is no reason for changing it anyway.

On the other hand, you can earn just as many minerals by just posting a few times per day. And people will notice names that keep popping up on the birthday list. Still, he has a good point there.

 

why not just have the bday set once and that would be permanent?

I think most of you can still remember the Christmas tree gift, right? Why not change the icon to a gift box and give that on a birthday?

Not an insanely high amount, just between 40 and 100 or so. Would be more fun to, sort of, open it that way. Just getting an automated 50 mineral deposit is so cold and unpersonal.
