When you get Starcraft 2...

I hope this is no duplicate post, I used the search function and found nothing.
I will play the campaign to learn the game.

Well I would definitely go for the campaign first, I don't have much interest in going online. Learn to play, see the new stuffs, then maybe play vs the computer.

Yeah, i would also go for the campaign, because it's Blizzard who made the game. In other games the Campaigns are baaaad.

 

And you also need to know your units, and I am pretty sure that the campaign will have some "tutorial" for each, where we can see the hard and weak points too

 

i'm ganna check the editor then go for campaign mode. looking at the editor will show me things i might see in the story more

 

I would go for the campaign, i would get used to everything and the campaign itself looks so awesome

 

I also would do the campaign first. I want to find out what happens story-wise and get used to the new parts of the game. After that, I will probably begin my map-making. I never really was an online player, with the exception of playing with friends against each other or the computers.

Campaign first, I wana see what happens in the story. This is one of the few games that really pulled me into the stroy, and I want to see what happens, above all else.

Gameplay will be a plus, though. ;D

 

First of all: I will quit wow(world of warcraft) for a while so I can play the campaign to get the rest of the story! and to learn the basics
Then I will have lan party and play with my friends when everyone is still noob to the game ;D That is going to be quite funny :thumbup:
And then I will play b.net and become pro :good:

 

ill probably disconnect from all forms of reality and then begin on the campaigns after I am done with the campaigns i will practice what i learned on them with the computers in skirmish mode and the extra campaigns they have in the skirmish mode. Then I will keep playing skirmish till my apm is at about 150 to 200 then proceed to play online.

 

Blackskies ir sounds like you pretty good to rts. Do you play WC3? Or only SC?

When I get Starcraft II, I will first bask in its glory. ;D

Pfft, joking aside, I'll probably start with the campaign for two reasons: 1. to get to the story and plot which I have come to enjoy and 2. to get a feel of the mechanics of the game. I think it'll be somewhat similar to Starcraft in the big picture, but still I'll probably need some time to get used to new units, new hotkeys, etc.

Oh yeah, after a bit of campaign, I'll probably go take Battle.net for a spin.

 

I will first play the Campaign, then check out the editor and practice a
little vs. computer, then I'm gonna play online vs. you guys I hope!

 

I'm definitely going Campaign first, I want to know what's going on with the Xel'Naga, Kerrigan, and the rest of the gang. Oh and the Hybrids, can't forget about the Hybrids.

That and I have to wait for someone to make DotA in space...
