Whats your Speedtest Result?

Heres my speedtest result, interested in seeing other peoples results. It measures your upload and download speed. Copy Forum link after the test.

All the internet provision in the netherlands is owned by a single company (with a dozen different companies under it, which essentially makes a single company offer the same service for different prizes), the KPN, and it's service blows.

 

Wireless, by the way. Also, my ram usage is at 65% and I am running ~40 Google Chrome tabs, many of which have flash content. Ventrilo, Skype, Windows Live Messenger, and AIM are also all running.

 

I'm sure if I cleared my cookies and internet history for once, and deleted all of the Playstation/Gameboy/Nintendo/Nintendo 64 roms, deleted my couple thousand picture archive (LawlZ), deleted the four games I have on my computer that I don't use, and ran my anti-virus plus C disk cleaner I'd run a lot faster.

Wait.. 40 google crome tabs? Most have flash... You're looking at hentai flashes and fapping arn't you! >=O

 

I don't post while I fap, hentai flashes are crude at best, I never close tabs. Ever. Two days ago just happened to be my restart the computer day. I usually leave it on for a couple weeks to a month.

 

Why..don't you close tabs? And I beg to differ abou tthe hentai flashes.

 

What if i need that information again?

 

Re...google it? And can you really conveniently look through 40 some tabs to find what you need? Prolly be just as quick to google it and click the purple colored text for a website you've already visited.

 

It's not as easy as that. I often find what I'm looking for by following different links at different sites - Google is only the first step. Also, the state of your computer has nothing to do with bandwidth unless it's an extreme case of spyware or something similar.

 

I really don't know much about computers and internet speeds and such. So I've got no clue what makes it fast or not. I just know my computer is dying slowly, need to get a new one with a nice big pair.

And that's what the favorite thingy is for, so you can add sites you may need and delete when ya don't need them.

 

I have five folders of favourites, and am planning on many more. Each folder has about 30 links.
Tabs in Google Chrome have a little picture that shows what that tab is, for example a Facebook tab will have a small Facebook symbol on the tab. So it is not difficult to quickly glance at the tabs and find what I need.

 

I only got like 8. >_> What the hell you guys looking up that you need so many tabs for?

 

forums, xev's twitter background, solar sail wiki entry, universal monsters, facebook, teen safe driver pledge, ximni's blog, my blog, some research on a person and events related (5 tabs total for this), wiki entry on pokémon trading card game (related to the research), wiki entry on that person's nickname, synonyms of encouragement, wordle, wordle, more research, hotmail, more research, more research, more research, more research. that's all the tabs on this window.

 

Only time I get more than one tab most of the time is when I'm searchign through the forums, I control click certain posts so I can see them all at once so I don't need to click one then press back twice and such if I post. Also... When I'm looking at porn. Find bout 100 things I wanna see and open up tabs for all of them and just go through them all one by one and add on as I find more stuff. xD

 

Strangely enough, I rarely open additional tabs for the same forum. I like to focus on one thing at a time when posting, I guess.
