What's up with the paying to read threads

That's total bull****.
Why should I have to shell out mineral's to read a thread that may or may not be a worthless load of crap with idiot replies?

 

I've only come across a few of them.

I'm not sure if the maker gets the minerals from this.

 

I agree with you, I don't like the feature at all, it doesn't really serve any point.

 

According to ursa the creator gets the money. Or maybe my memory is failing me?

 

Really, I only thought the creator gets minerals per view from the system, not from the people who view... Wow that's lame. Don't take from the readers, just give the creator minerals out of nowhere.

 

Why would you guys hate on that, it shows how idiotic people would be to actually pay for it, or cry about it becuase they are super curious to know whats going on in the super 1337 thread.

We're talking about how a fee is optional when you create a thread Dt_L. The viewer has to pay 1 to 200 minerals the first time the thread is viewed, and it goes to the creator.

 

Wait, the creator can choose the fee!?!?!? Omg, I'm going to choose 200 for my super awesome threads!

 

...And like no one will pay to see them...

As far as I know I have shut down to the ability to make threads that cost fees. If there any threads like this still out there PM me and I will remove it. As for the ability to still make threads with fees I'll look into it to make it is removed, and if its still not gone PM and I'll look around some more.
