Whats in your opinion would be the Zerg's ultimate weapon?

As in: to match the Terran Nuke and Protoss Mothership, and as a single unit not a swarm of which, and able to be used in multiplayer

It would be Kerrigan related most likely but I have no idea what is the "Final Morphosis", and what powers will she have, I am betting it would be the most impressive unit because no word of it had been released yet.

The Zerg shouldn't have an ultimate unit in multi-player. Also, the Ultra is pretty close as is.

 

Yeah but Ultra is more of a Carrier / Battlescruiser level.
And I'm guessing if a unit of which exists, for multiplayer it would have the Mothership limits as in costing huge amounts of resources and only one could exist on the battle field,

 

Again the Zerg shouldn't have a unit like the Mothership in any form. The Nuke really isn't even comparable to the Mothership anymore because the Nuke ie being made easier to use, just look at the most recent Battle Report.

 

The Zerg ultimate weapon is ungodly numbers. Sure, their units are by and large more fragile, but they also take up less food and cost half as much. Even though pound for pound they're weaker, given enough units, anything will be overwhelmed.

That is something that perhaps should be revealed in single player SC2:HoS. And if ever they will be making one ultimate monstrosity for the zerg I would suggest...

Infested Char! - four years of mutation finally gave birth to zergs ultimate weapon.

How cool would it be if zerg can turn a mass of land or planet into a living creature? I could just imagine how awesome a final battle would look like with a structure being your final enemy. But not just a plain planted structure like the overminds were, but I'm thinking of turtle speed mobile. I hope we could edit something like that in the map maker and make it a flying unit with a size so ridiculous it can't even show it's full size on a small size map. Just a zerg fantasy...

 

i agree for unbelievable zerg multiple number abilities.. its like theyre mating 2 times a day!

Are you talking in-campaign? The zerg already have freaky units like the brutalisk and centaur, plus possible ultralisk variants.

Ah, I see you're talking multiplayer. Nah, that's not necessary.

A really creepy infested terran variant from the mission Outbreak (The "I am Legend" mission).

 

Imo it will be Kerrigen, watching all the other Zerg evolve, and envy the other queens for spawning larva now, she feeling the need to compensate and turns to drastic measures. As the queen of the blades she will evolve a body of an Ultralisk!! and because super mental Ultra-Kerrigen!! With insane physical strengh and speed and evolving her physic abilites to new devastating power! (And she'll shoot lazer out her eyes!)

Or she'll spawn a single Kerri-Larva that will evolve into something really nasty like a Defiler-Nydos thingy

Uhmm I don't think that it was brilliant.. more like stupid to me.

The shockwave force shouldn't have been that massive if you estimate the weight of the uberlisk and the climax of his height he reached before starting his gravitational impact. I would estimate the Uberlisk to be as heavy as Thor or lesser since its not even steel (unless it has bones of steel). Even if the gravity under that planet is a hundred times heavier than earth, the tendency for the impact to be completely radial is on a random basis, plus the range of impact would be a bit smaller and it probably would have burried the uberlisk to the ground.

But it's just model so what gives.

 

The shockwave was psionic in nature (it actually said so in the video), so mass was irrelevant. Psionic power was what counted.
