    I wondered what is the most ignored unit in starcraft.. here is my list

    Ultralisk..wow too expensive
    Archon..stupid emp shockwave(good for swarms of zergs through)
    Vultures..too hard to micro
    corasirs.....Scouts are better
    valkrieys...cool but too specific

    So what is ur most ignored starcraft unit???

    Scouts are soooo not better than corsairs. Scouts cost almost as much as Carriers and they suck on top of that. Corsairs are relatively inexpensive and their air attack is better especially upgraded and especially in large groups. And they have disruption web. In fact, Scouts are possibly the worst air unit when you factor in their ridiculous cost. So what if Scouts have a ground attack and corsairs don't, the Scout ground attack blows beyond belief.

    I would say Infested Terrans are ignored because you can only get them if there is a terran in the game and if they happen to have a CC damaged but not destroyed and it you have a queen there. And they are expensive for something that just explodes.

    This is a lot like the whats the worst unit in starcraft thread...

    hmmm i don't really have a ignored unit unless the game is rush game. in that case here's a list

    Terran:
    BattleCruiser-you're kidding right? i said rush XD

    Zerg:
    Queen-eh. too much time to upgrade spells
    Defiler-see above
    Ultralisk-RUSH dude RUSH

    Protoss:
    Carrier-THE TOPIC IS RUSH!!! XP

    that's about it though

    Defiler - I don't use it much and I barely see anyone use it when I play them
    Ultralisk - not cost effective at all, and take up 6 supplies
    vulture - overshadowed by siege tank's power, so why make them when the next unit is SO powerful?
    valkyrie - only useful at countering mass mutas and quite expensive too
    arbiter - takes too long to make
    dark archon - I barely use them and I barely see anyone use it when I play them

    most ignored buildable units:
    infested terrans
    queens
    scouts
    valkyries

    in my experience everything else is used more than less in both online/professional games

    i still perfer the scout through they are awsome anti air..fast manuverable and not defenseless vs ground..i would say they do cost quiet a lot through

    It all depends on if you play BroodWar or Original. In original SC, scouts are really useful against air units. I always see alot of people say that Defilers are a useless unit. Personally i think defilers are extremely useful, and if you play against me when im zerg, u'll definitely see me using defilers. But my most ignored units would have to be:

    - Ultralisks (too expensive and not that good)
    - Ghosts (Unless im nuking someone, thier pretty useless. Lockdowns nice though ;))
    - Carriers/Battle Cruisers (If your playing a Money-map its different, but for Non-Money, hell no)

    infested terran, scout and valkerie are the only units that are rarely seen in pro games

    Infested Terrans definitely
    Scouts I happen to see once in awhile
    Ultralisks I NEVER see, unless its a UMS map
    Valks are useful as they do splash damage like Corsairs but I still don't use them much.

    vouch.. I never use scouts..

    and corsairs are soooo leet..

    protoss vs zerg, you get corsair early and you scout the whole map for his overlords... gg

    To be honest I never used the queen really unless I was just screwing around. I also never used Valkeries. I figured a fleet of BCs could fend for themselves. As for Protoss I probably used corsairs and scouts the least. Too expensive. Might as well build a carrier.

    Or massive psi storm
    Or that some defilers plagued you and then mutalisks and devourers finished you off
    Or that some ghosts locked you down and Goliaths took you down.

    It has happened but it's all about adapting to what other people are building. Always gotta have an observer with you, especially against Terrans. Maybe drop a few reavers into the back of someones base while they are distracted with your carriers.

    Mutas can be a problem of course but you would need a lot of them. And hopefully i've caught someone in time to make sure they don't make enough ghosts to lock me down.

    Those little tigers and rhinos are pretty easy to ignore and the pterodactyls and the three legged birds are pretty useless too. :sleeping:

    yea. i guess i never seen an ultra, queen, infested terrans. I have seen scouts on occasions though, to do some AA.

    It depends of the kinf of game you´re playing... But :

    *Scourges : useless unless you´re desperate to to take out 1 or 2 massive air units
    *Infested Terrans : hard to get and to use
    *Devourer : never meant a menace for terran/protoss aerial units
    *Vultures : Once they´re out of spider mines,,, they´re too weak,,, good for scouting

    But it´s all relative

    devourer is a support unit you have to use it in combination with mutalisks
    vultures are good at harassing slower units especially slower melee units like zealots.
