What will this years Blizz con mean for SC2?

So SC2 will already be out by next Blizz con. You guys think we'll hear much of anything on the franchise?

Hopefully some bits about Heart of the Swarm...but Blizz seems to only have eyes for WoW and new game announcements last few years.

It would still be nice to learn about how the campaign will be different from WoL and will hopefully finally shut up the "This is one game you have to pay 3 times for!" crowd.

Maybe we'll hear something about the possible new multi-player units too?




If not SC2 news, what do you want to hear about?

I'll be kinda pissed if we don't get to find out what the 5th D3 class is... even more so if it's not as cool as the poor dead necro.

I hear enough about Cataclysm from wow.com. I really have zero hype for the game right now. It'll be great, yeah, but...it's nothing really new.
Some news about that next gen mmo/new IP would be very welcome. WoW has a great system... I just don't care for the franchise very much at all.

 

Please. Please let it be the final D3 class, a whole bunch of info and content, and some more huge videos of gameplay for new areas.

Doubt there's going to be all too much for SC2 considering it's in October, and the game is out in four days.

Cataclysm? Eh. Maybe more info along with the showing off of more finished areas.

 

You can be sooooooo happy that you can at least participate on the blizz con. All i have here is the gamesCon in Cologne (where im living). Surely, Blizz will be there, they already announced, but im sure they won't reveal anything here. Maybe a demo of Diablo III again, thats all :-(

Im quite sure that they'll now reveal the 5th Diablo III Class on Blizz Con. Maybe 1 and a half year more till the release of D3

 

I have no idea about their expansion release scheme, but this might be one of the final places to really announce heart of the swarm officialy, so I am guessing we'll see at least a bit of that.

Final D3 class seems a given, Blizz is probably gonna show off all things cata. New IP probably got cancelled before we even heard of it, blizzard seems to do that quite a bit, according to a list they once put out.

 

It's Diablo 3's time to shine at BlizzCon.

 

They must be saving the best D3 class for last. And I'm sure that the necromancer will be in an expansion pack...(Blizzard is starting to remind me of Apple)

 

They'll probably announce a new game. I guess the next-gen MMO. It better not be something StarCraft.

 

What if it is starcraft: ghost?

 

I'm thinking Cataclysm, new franchise, HotS, and D3 are plenty to work on, so no Ghost. In fact I can't imagine Ghost being announced before LotV, which is a good 3 years away.

As already mentioned, D3 last class I expect to see, as well as a smaller announcement about the revamp of B.net with chatrooms and the rest. I think Blizzard needs a solid game and an online network to appease the crowd, so I expect priority to shift towards b.net and balance instead of HotS.

 

If they intend on resurrecting ghost they better make it for the PC as well instead of just consoles.

 

I hadn't even thought of the bnet updates. I do hope those are gonna be in place before Blizz con though.

I'm really hoping to see that new IP even if it isn't mmo. The last SC game Blizz made was ~12 years ago. When was the last franchise they made? 12 years ago with SC?

I fully believe SCghost would've never been scrapped if it had originally been on the PC. Not to mention the much greater moding potential. Imagine a fps level editor as advanced as the galaxy editor.
