    Another mech? Another fighter? A brand new infantry? A new building?

    Shoot away with ideas and what roles the new thing will have, whats its purpose.

    I mention this idea in another thread, i would like to see a cloak-able ground transport for terrans

    Terran Chameleon
    cloak-able ground transport, carries up to 6 infantry,
    infantry can attack from within(reserach)
    has the grappler ability(reserach) which shoots out a grappler to grab a small ground unit (both friendly and enemy) and bring it next to the carmeleon. the ability would have long range and use very little energy. so you can do it multiple times in quick secession

    the use of this ability would be to rescue your own units or to kidnap enemy units such as high templar for an easy kill.

    the cloaking is like chameleon's camouflage
    the grappler is like it's tongue

    i want another bad ass mech. thor and vikings are not enough.

    yes a mobile bunker. where you can put marines inside and shoots laser canons. ^^

    bnechbreaker's idea is accually pretty awesome. I do like it, but perhaps not as a transport. the cloaked transport might be a little imbalanced... but it would be cool. Also, how would the grapple look like. just shoot out and pull someone in? that would be wierd looking as an animation.

    good idea, but I'm just imagining 6 stimmed marines, all cloaked, in an armored transport

    I want a ground support unit. The terran have nomads which are fine, once they redo their look and they have medics which are ok for infantry but I wan something to go along with mechs. Both the Zerg and Protoss had some prity kick ass support units, both flying and ground. I was always quite happy with science vessels but medics seemed underpowered compared to the Zerg and Protoss ground support units.

    What I would like for the Terran is a mech support unit. Something that would be good at assisting Tanks or Thors and maybe Cobras and Vikings to a certain degree. Make it a walker or a track vehicle and give it decent defensive abilities. Maybe an AoE snare to slow enemy ground units. Something that might give your Tanks one extra shot before the enemy units get withing their own firing range. Or maybe a concealment ability. Perhaps something like the Defilers ability but less powerful. I'd imagine some sort of smoke screen giving ranged attackers an increased chance of missing, in contrast to the Defiler ability which prevented incoming ranged attacks altogether.

    None of this is in anyway needed and I'm sure alot of people are thinking the last thing the Terran need is more micromanagement but I think the Terran are a bit lacking on dedicated support units.

    i want something that actually shoots MISSILES and not some laser crap...
    in sc1 many units shot missiles like goliath and wraith
    but in sc2 NO MISSILES wat the crap...
    laser = protoss
    missiles = terrans

    i dont like the tongue idea. And i think the chameleon should of the ability to jump ledges like reapers

    that would make it more or less a cloaked dropship (except it can't cross space and water)

    i dont feel like making a new tread so i make a reply here. I think they should make the viking have anti-air missiles like Valkyries but stronger and give predators a strong non-splash single enemy anti-air missiles

    We have yet to see how the Predator shoots, he has multiple lazer cannos, yeah it should say 1/2 attacks but maybe its one attack vs everything around it much like the Phoenix.

    The Wraith and/or the Goliath. Those two units, next to the marine, were most iconic to the terrans, and it pisses me right the fuck off to seem them going.

    Hmm... Maybe a Terran submarine, which cannot be detected without a detector. It can spy at the enemy and shoots missels(like in the real world).

    You mean in SC2? If yes, why did they remove the water?

    water is not in every tile set, e.g. space platform don't have water. only some tile sets might have water

    Lol there's plenty of water in SC.

    BTW Reaker I like the idea a lot better from the one on the thread you linked from ;)

    I like the cloak, and I like the grapple, but this unit will then necessarily not be very armored.

    It will have to have less hp than the 6 infantry units holed up within it. And obviously they all die when it dies.

    Give it armor, etc. but just make it fast and not shoot without the upgrade. As long as its on the ground I don't see it being imba. Just like a ghost the cloak ability should cost mana. 25 to start, etc....

    I like the grappling idea and the animation certainly does provide a challenge, but Blizzard could overcome that. Also, its not really NECESSARY to the idea of a personnel carrier that offers transport earlier game than the Dropship. It would also give the Terran race another option rather than having to go to the air. Of course they still need mobile detectors ;)

    Its abilities are good just does not suit terrans

    the grappler idea is soo much suited for zerg but not as a transport unit but as a killer

    here's what i had in mind when i first thought about it

    cloak would cost energy in the same way as ghosts and wraiths in starcraft 1
    hp would be around 100 and armor 0
    speed would between marine and stimed marine
    grappler would cost 50 energy
