What race do you fear the most?

Mainly in multiplayer, it goes...

Zerg
Protoss
terran

for me.

As far as storyline goes that would be zerg for me, then terran then protoss.
But I worry most about the hybrids coming out of knowhere while being unannounced by Blizzard for that ultimate surprise ;D

Zerg definatly! They have no technologies but still wreck entire systems.

 

I fear both Zerg and Protoss....
...untill they are dead offcourse 

 

i fear my fear, which is zerg

 

1. Protoss (ability to multitask Probes)
2. Zerg (the rushes... oh god the rushes)
3. Terran (Siege Tanks taking out my expansions)

 

Fear Zerg's
- zergling rush
- hydralisk rush
- guardians catching me off guard
- scourges shooting out of nowhere
- queen's spawn broodings
- defiler's plague

Fear Protoss's
- psionic storm
- dark archon's mind control and feedback
- zealot rush
- mass carriers (it's gone in sc2 :'()
- reaver drop

Fear Terran's
- nuclear launch detected
- ghost's lock down
- siege tanks
- yamato gun
- spider mines
- science vessel's EMP and irritate

Overall gameplay wise I think there's something to be scared of in every race.

Story wise the zerg has to be the most feared race. Especially with Kerrigan in charge.....

 

Id say at the moment protoss, because we've seen a good amount of their stuff =P

 

Baneling swarms.

I do not fear at all of the races it depend how is my status depending if i´m playing whit the terran an i get my base whiouthg defenses i fear the zerg because they out number my terran SCV and my terran marine.
But is it´s a protoss player i can quickli out number it realy easy :good:
But if it´s is terran i simpli cannot be more or less than they :no:

 

Hm, zerg rush would be a good fear, except their dead or roasted if you research firebats fast enough
protoss rush? won't be that much of a fear since i'v never seen one done before
terran rush...nah, they can't rush that easily

The most i'm afraid of is that of a science vessel using irrate on my scvs or queens comming and spawning those critters, i won't know till when i click build unit and see aei? no minerals? thats ok! i'll wait a few minutes
click again and finds out theres still the same amount of cash or less still. and it'll be too late.

A single protoss carrier wrecking havoc my base when i'm out of my base leading an attack..the missle turrents are too dumb to target the carrier and go for the interceptors...lol =D and the classic nuke.. ouch

 

I fear nothing but DEFEAT!

Zerg rushes I can handle, mass carries (yay gone in SC2).. maybe, but sieges and nukes...

Id say (late game only) the terrans in the hands of a skilled player.

i think i fear aspects or strategies of certain races more that the races on the whole

I play Protoss mostly, and it stems from my inexperience on bnet

Protoss:
one thing I am deathly afraid of is archon/reaver drops. this means I have a lot of photon cannons around my nexus but then I tend to forget or neglect another area.

Zerg:
Guardian massing. My HT can't get in range if they are good or I don't have enough scouts, etc

Terran
Wraiths when I lose or forget to tech to observer. DAMN LASER BEAMS FROM THE SKY

 

Hm, fortunately ive got some counters ot those.

Protoss: Science Vessel EMP for Archons. Lift-Off for Reavers.

Zerg: Science Vessel Irradiate

Terran: Com-Stat Station or orbiting Science Vessels

 

oh well those are great if you're terran, but what if you are protoss in the situations i highlighted?
