What kind of graphics card will be needed to run SC2?

Currently, I have a video card that only goes as high as 32MB. I'm guessing SC2 will require at least 64-124MB, but I'm not sure.

I have money, but I only want to buy what I need to run the game, which I will most likely be buying on release. Does anyone know the requirements for the game, or at least some kind of guess?

You'll need at least 128mb to run it with bare minimum settings, but the performance of your graphics card doesn't end at the amount of memory it has...

 

Correct. With minimal settings, a 32mb video card just might pull it off.

If a 32MB will pull it off, however, I think I'll at least get a 64MB. I want the card that will be recommended on the box but I'm not sure which one it'll be. 64 is what I'm shooting for though.

 

For a second there I thought I mistyped my previous post.

Anyway, if you're after SC2 and don't game much otherwise, wait till an official list of requirements is made public, then you won't have to guess what you'll need.

 

I actually play games a lot, but I'm not much of a PC gamer. At least, I'm not much of one until SC2 comes out. I have a 360 and I play online from there.

But anyways, yea, I guess I'll probably wait.
