For those of your who are either new to Battle.net or just do not understand these terms, I shall elaborate and i will start posting random things in this page for Forum Clans and Battle.Net clans. Flooding is the use of warbots, which can load or flood. What is a warbot? A warbot is much like a regular bot, but it uses over 300+ starcraft CD keys to do its bidding, basically, a flood is a spam of messeges that can enter a channel and cuase players annoyance, thats flooding. Loading is filling up a channel until its completley filled to keep other members out. Thats warring. So from time to time, you will see me post random things that can be funny and amazing. Last night, a person names Racial threatened my clan. (We get threats from hackers, warrers and clans alike) they all think they can take down the Empire. So... He threatens to load 1K (1000 bots or 1000 SC Keys) into my channel. Obvioulsy, he is all bark but no bite. SO, here is the talk we had today, which i find funny :} In battle.net, its all about dominance between Clans. When a clan cant do what it says it can, its disgraced. Some 'elite hackers' threatend to take down My Clan Site (ClanEmpire.Net) Nothing happend yet. So, without further adu, here is the convo i had today which connects with the threat from last night. "Thats warring." This is incorrect. The above explanation is "Loading" and "Flooding" not warring, though many will falsely claim or believe it to be. In a Nut Shell: Loading = mass bots to fill a channel, sometimes spam as well. Flooding = fast recon while displaying a message before the next log. A good flood will need a good ops bot or for very fast proxy floods, normally a private ops bot to stop. Warring = loading bots (not with intension of filling a channel) into a declared enemy channel to take Operator after a server split/drop/ or the enemy bot drops. This cannot be done anymore ever since Private Ops was patched... i believe the patch was in `01 if im not mistaken(prob am) but regardless this was also when Warring was patched. B.Net patched Private Channel Operating because of the scale warring had taken. Bruting/DOSing/mass loading all took its scale on the Bnet servers. People even went so far as to drop the Bnet servers. ]{LiK`Crysis` was known for being so ruthless at this, his private channel Warez was BANNED, and is only forcable accessable by few chat bots to this day. Other details aside. Moral is this.. anybody who claims they war on bnet should / their wrists out of pure idiosy. <yeah there are spelling errors, wannafight about it? like i care>
Okay, wtf. I just wasted 5 minutes of my life. You have clans just to threaten each other over a computer screen that you will destroy their clan chat? OH NO!!1111 And here I thought clans were meant to be a sort of team that would go against others while actually playing the game. Lmfao. Well, that's what they are in the MKWII community. It's a lot less sad there.
