I was working to get my ratio right. Normally I would win - just a litte more than I lose. So I was closing in on the 50% ratio Hey It's just bronze so no sweat (at least thats what I thought) But today I got raped match after match, Even with corerct upgrades , macro, scouting and unit production I still get overwhelmed every time. I think I lost 15 games in a row., I learned from earlier mistakes but still the smallest error or delay will be punished severely . Why is it impossible to win in Bronze all of a sudden, have the Koreans invaded the Bronze League?. Or is this not my kind of game after all?
i dont know.... but dont feel too bad when loosing many games in a row ^^ many others have tried that xD but i honestly have no idea how to help you with that i haven't played league games in a while now so im just practising ^^
IMO it just sounds like the player base as a whole is getting better. What may be the Silver League of today may be the Bronze of tomorrow, etc.
Kaaraa is right, the SC players are slowly but surly getting better and better the longer the game is out. Your problem could be one of many things though bro. 1. Sometimes trolls purposly lose games in order to drop leagues so they can rape the poor noobs (No offense) in the lower leagues. 2. Sometimes people just screw up in their qualifying matches and get placed in bronze. Perhaps you should check the people's profiles after the games. They may actually be silver or gold players. I read somewhere on the forum that the game actually places you with people of your own skill by some secret mechanics. So perhaps the game thought you should play higher level players in order to see if you are ready to advance or not. 3. Players are just getting better or you're just not doing as good as you may think. 4. Players placed in the leagues when they first got the game and sucked it up and ranked bronze. So instead of play bronze they played custom games like 2v2 Lost Temple and practiced there. Once they got good enough to decided to try their hand at the leagues again. 5. You could just be a fail rutt. We all get them, they come and go. Rather than playing game after game take a break, it usually works to kill the rutt. Play some ums, go screw your girlfriend, watch some Spongebob. Whatever floats your boat. Hell, you could even stuff a kitten in a sack and play with it like a pinata, I don't judge. 6. Maybe you're just one unlucky guy. xD You should post some replays though, there are a lot of great players on here so they could help you out whether you wanted that or not. Give you some good tips to play with.
Were you facing other bronze players (did you check their profiles) the battle net matching system can be quite punishing if you win a bunch in a row. I had a period where i would win 7-8 games then lose 7-8. But yeah as Taka said, take a break come back when you've watched a few videos and slept .
