What don't you like so far about starcraft 2?

I know its great and we are all excited but what don't you like about starcraft 2 so far...


I personally dislike the tempest vs the carrier :upset:

tempest rocks! aiur is destroyed, so not much fancy gold plating anymore. i don't really like the soul hunter, but it's really early to decide. they might change things on us.

 

I chose the mothership because I don't see the need for a super unit in the SC universe. I know Blizz will manage to make the game even in the end but I think they didn't need to add it in the first place and are creating more work for themselves in the end.

 

I personally dislike the Colossus...it seems like a unit who's cost will override its usefulness

 

Yes, i completely agree. I find it quite contradictory to claim "that starcraft is still a game where large armies fight against large armies" and then invent some stupid, extremely costly super unit that goes down with barely no effort and some skillful microing.

 

Honestly, that SC2 isn't out yet. That's it.

 

I dislike soul hunters, tempests replacing carriers, the fact that someone voted "star relic replaces arbiter", and the simplistic textures on some buildings and units.

Just like the scout and the ultralisk

so im definitely picking ugly looking siege tanks with their big fat-red-lips-looking cannontip.....

 

The thing I hate the most about Starcraft II is that it has not been released yet! 8)

 

Actually I think the red lipped siege tanks are super sexy. Every time I see those tanks I jsut want to leap ontop of one of them and start making out with its cannon...those are some damn fine lips girl...i would say, and then the siege tank would blow my head off....THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMBOOOOOOOM!

i doubt colossus will be that expensive. and just you wait, the mothership and colossus will smack you in the face, and you'll hate yourself for dissing them

 

I simply cant understand why (some)people hate the fact that there is all these new units to SC2, this is not and Expansion, this is a sequel, and even though i really think there should have been a fourth race, i love that they try to keep the feel about SC1 and replacing most of the units with new units, that have abilities which wasnt in SC1, and the reason is new strategy new units that you have to learn how to "master", we all know how to play SC1, we even though we didnt get the fourth race i am looking forward to learn a hole new and different game, see you guys on Bnet...

There really should not ever be a fourth race. Ever.
And they aren't replacing most of the units, they are replacing some of them.
And nobody hates the fact that there are new units, they dislike the particular units because they do not seem useful/are stupid.
For example. The Soul Hunter is stupid because it has a hoverboard. Hoverboards are stupid. Nobody would actually use something like that on a battlefield as they offer no protection whatsoever. It is more a tool for a scout unit to use but Soul Hunters are not scouts. Also, they look increasing stupid the more of them there are.

I also dislike the new look of the siege tank.

 

Siege Tanks Look Terrible look like toys from toys r us... wat were also terrible were the soul hunters.... getting stronger after fallen enemies??/ Where did that come from...

 

It's cause they suck out their soul. Or they just suck. One of those.
Blizz really has to pick it up in the texture department. Maybe a few high poly bakes to liven them up.

 

I think the mothership could be cool.. but its going to be tageted as soon as any1 sees in in a game they will just hammer it. I hope they dont change it to much more units would be cool though.

The terran barracks looks ugly. I mean, the model looks basically the same but it looks like it is glass and i'm going to break it.
