what do you like best about sc2

what improvements overall do you like best or what do you like about the game in general??

 

the fact that blizzard is finally returning to its deprived franchise

 

I haven't played it yet, so I can't tell.

 

I like the new style of storytelling. It always felt a bit...akward that the "commander" (you) would just up and disappear when people needed you most.

I've even come up with an answer with an answer to each of the "commanders" fates!

SC 1
Terran- You never existed, it was all Jimmy. He's actually insane, and your his imaginary friend. Of course, everyone was MUCH to polite to tell Jimmy there is nobody there! Eventually, he gets better and forgets you existed.

Zerg- Iced by the dark templar. So sad.

Protoss- Artanis is actually crazy to! Unlike Jimmy though, he creates you as an illusion. Everybody felt really guilty when you finally disappeared, and gave Artanis all the credit for your work. The prick!

Expansion

Terran- You die, but unlike DuGalle, you take it like a man, Ripping off a mutalisk's wings...with your BARE HANDS! After fighting a hundred zerglings in hand to hand combat on the ship, it finally explodes. Oh well.

Zerg- Kerrigan tries to give you a "reward" for your "good behavior", if you know what I mean *wink wink*. Like any rational being, you kill yourself immediately. Kerrigan takes the credit for your work. Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Anyway, the campaign IS shaping up nice. I just hope they manage to throw a few REALLY good twists in.

From the "Story So Far" that's on the official website it says you were Artanis in the original missions. Anyone know if this is true for Brood War also? Because I remember Artanis talking to me like "Executor, take your forces yada yada yada."

 

What do i like best about Starcraft II?

 

That my friend is an answer for part 2 but I am guessing that they are going to trow a curve and suggest that you were selendas in BW

 

But Blizzard said the guy that you played as died at their lore panel. Is it just me or are there a lot of weird stuff in this?

 

i think you play as the person needed in the main battles throughout the story no just one personbut i could be wrong

 

You did play as just one person, the Executor. It's just that the protoss storyline seems kinda off right now.

I just remembered, Artanis became Praetor in BW, so you couldn't have played him. So I guess it's just some other guy.
