1) Being able to watch replays together (host replays and watch them in party) 2) Being able to play 1v1 with spectators 3) Have, to the right of where the time is shown, another clock that shows "StarTime". Like in WoW, you have your server time, and your local time. Post what else you think is needed..
1 & 2 I completely agree with. 3 would be extremely easy to implement, but it wouldn't really change anything. You can buy a $3 watch that can do that for you. However~ it would be nice to be able to join up and watch replays together and have a discussion in real time about whats going on. It would be great for teams analyzing their games. 2 I can get on board with because it sort of promotes the same thing that arcades have for years(You watch me/comment and I do the same.) And I for one miss the days when arcades were extremely popular (at least in countries where you got a sense of camaraderie from playing in arcades.) Maybe we could finally get that feel online. That said: I think since they are making such a move to replace...well... everything, that a mobile app is order for bnet2.0. A way to invite/message friends when they're not in front of a PC. Don't know if this has already been planned or considered, but thought I would throw it out there.
Well with number 3 you would have an universal time for everybody on battle net. So instead of just saying "at 5 tomorrow" or "in 18 hours" when you're talking with people in another timezone, you just say "at 3 am Battle.net time". It would help a liiitle.
b.net time = GMT, at least in SC1 and diablo II. when you type /time in those games you get your local time and b.net time, which is just GMT. did they take that feature out? and 1 and 2 for sure, but at the same time i'm kind of wary of cheesers who would get their friends on skype or the phone to spectate-scout for them.
1.) They said they are working to implement this after release. 2.) You can....Make the custom game, and start inviting people to game. When you invite over the max slots, they get moved to Spectators. If it's a 4 player map, you can set on the right to "1v1" and do the same thing. 3.) The time thing would be nifty. Not needed by any stretch of the imagination, but a nifty tool none the less.
I was under the impression it would just be a clock somewhere in bnet, not IN game. If I am correct, then I see no problem.
