We sure talk a lot about starcraft, but how is the general population of the forum in these 3 kinds of games? VOTE 3 TIMES. DONT BE AFRAID TO VOTE FOR BAD AT SOMETHING.

Uh. Intresting results. They are all sort of even.

 

I chose average for all game types but i'm still a noob...i guess

 

i chose average tvb, average ums, and bad fastest becuase i think it's the stupidest game to play. It basicly makes starcraft into a giant click-fest. no expansions needed, thousands of units to control, and there are no fun strats, like dt's or reaver drops becuase everyone just surrounds their base with cannons, turrets, or spores. basicly u mass the top tier unit and go send it blindly to the enemy. Also in normal games i guess i'm ok, but i wasn't really tested that much. i just ussually win most games but i was never really "tested"

 

i think im average though since i cant get onto battle.net ive been training againts computers.

I'm pretty darn good on melee SC.
Average for map settings games, unless I play the same one repeatedly until I get a grasp on it.
Probably crap at Fastest, since I don't even touch it.

Good, good, average. Although I never, ever play money maps, I know that money map skill is a subset of normal map skill, so some of it should rub off.

 

I put bad all across the board, but I'm the type of guy who gives advice that people can take into serious use.

PS: what exactly is UMS? I have not played SC1 in forever, but SC2 has piqued my interest to the extreme

Money maps are just another way of playing.

Money maps and non money maps both take skill, just different types of skill.

Even if I played to SC1 and Brood War too many time ( I am still playing today !! ) I am not an expert in this game. I always play with the cheat codes. Howeveer I restarted to play less than one week ago, and without the cheat codes. I took over 3 hours to finish the BW Terran mission 6 when we had to destroy Mengsk's Command Center, with battlecruisers always attacking me. I dislike to see dead units ! I'm too sensible ! ;D

In multiplayer I like the UMS, or North vs South. In the melee I mostly never win, except if I give a support to my allied friends.
In the phantom game, I always lose, may I be the phantom or not !
