One of my favorites has to be the "Backdoor Marine Drop"tm. Just fly around the major defences, around to their supply lines. You would be shocked how many people leave that area open. Drop 16 Marines via 2 dropships, and voila, mass panic, confusion and anger. Oh, and dead Peons as well.

What are some of your favorites?

Reavers and HTs. Mass destruction on a wide scale. Or is that just redundant?

Another good one is rushing to Dark Templar against the Protoss, and sometimes even Terrans, assumeing they don't have anything with detectioin. Go after there miners first, and be sure to kill anything that they might be building that can detect you. Command center, to prevent rebuilding workers, then troops, than the rest. gg.

    Woot, 100'th post.

If you could get them there, that would be some huge damage.

thats what i meant by it being nasty

dt drops are effective too you don't have to get them through the base so it sometimes is more effective

problem is, it would be hard to get the infested terrans to begin with, you would need to get one of the other player's cc. Doing so, they know you will most likely get a few infested terrans.

After that though, it would be a version of the terran marine drop, just instant results.

you could always have one of your terran allies give you a cc so the enemy won't know about it, this won't always apply though

It would work, I was thinking about 1 v 1 battles. A terran ally might let you use a cc, but they most likely wouldn't since it could affect thier economy. It would keep them from getting resources from a resource center, or just building a new cc for a zerg ally could be using up valuable resources.

If anything it'll always be a late game thing, since queens themselves are mid-late game and even if your ally gives you a cc, it'll only be in the late game since they won't have the resources to spare before that. But infested terran drops probably could have some seriously devastating results. I'd like to try it sometime. But until then, lurkers will be fine.

I never tried lurker drop because overlords are too valuable. How well would they work out against computer and human players?

It's a great worker hunter because of its splash and burrow, as long as there are no detectors. If you have about four lurkers on a cliff, they can wipe out pretty much all the workers before reinforcements arrive.
