    :good: They were a very expectated unit in broodwar ... and a pwrfull unit it was ... stealth assasin ... they can't change them with soul hunters or stalkers ... If they are High Templars ... WE NEED Dark Templars as well !!!

    ...They're in-game.

    I have the PCGamer magazine with the listing of currently known units and Dark Templar are listed as them and one of the IGN screenshots has them, just covered in Terran blood so the unit model is hard to see.

    I know the Thread ... i've read it ... I know that the units are'nt final but still at this stage ... I would like to see some evidences that the Dark Templars ar in consideration ... !!!

    Dark Templars are coming back, at E3 they mentioned that an Twilight Archon will be made by fusing 2 high templars, 2 dark templars or 1 of each so i think that's clarifies it:)

    Even the name- Twilight Archon-> Twilight is between light and dark as we all know:), and Zeratul which will return for sure cannot return alone:p

    i doubt thatt with all the new dark templar units, and such a strong dark templar influence on the protoss in general will they not be in game

    Don't worry, Dark Templars as of now, are confirmed in the game. They might even have something unique that the original DT in SC didn't have.

    Haha if you're going to go for 9999 damage, you might as well just give him an invisible Hummer that he can mow his enemies down in ;D.

    I don't know if it's just me, but I think that the Dark Templars are going to have some sort of upgrades to them just like how the Zealots has the upgrade to the Charge ability. On the other hand, from the new screenshots from ign.com, the Dark Templars with their cape + their warp blades are looking soo badass. I can't wait to use the new Dark Templars in SC2. They were one of my favorite units in SC1 simply because I loved their theme. I always have a thing with units with swords. I love how people fought in the past carrying swords. It makes them look soo religious and mystical. Thats why I love the Protoss very much.
