Warp In Error

Where do Protoss warp in their units from? In SC1 it was Auir wasn't it? But that's destroyed by the Zerg now. Also that would be a good mission idea, the Protoss Warp In has been disabled/destroyed and you must play the game with the minimal troops you have, it would be awesome!

 

Shakuras perhaps? Thats their new home base after all.

What if they warp there buildings in from another dimension! Populated by only buildings with buildings instantly spawning every second or so....

like probes, just perhaps for construction purposes, not mining or warping.

 

Okey i see friend well i have noticed in Starcraft 1 if the Probe is warp some buildings, sometimes instead of facing forward to the building before he warp, there is a time the Probe looking at the back and he warp at the front have you noticed that friend hahah that was funny right

 

The buildings are built by the Khalai, a part of the protoss society devoted to construction. Hell I need a life.

 

I think buildings are warped in this way. Once the building warp is started, as we all know Protoss are very advanced in technology (space travel, weapons, shields, warp, etc). The warp in of a building (Gateway for example) is started, and the little warp ball either has/collects/warps in the materials and matter for the creation. Sort of like DNA structure but for a building such as the Gateway. It has all the instructions and can create or warp in the information and building materials/matter, then it sets it all up just as if from a blueprint.

 

Protoss buildings are like fast food hamburgers. They are built when you order them the caveat being that the one you get was built when the last person ordered so your building actually goes to the next person to ask for it

 

Shakarus is a DARK TEMPLAR city/homeworld though. Wouldn't that mean there would be limited original protoss buildings/units able to warp in from there?

I think what is done is that they build these structures the old fashioned way (except, you know, with new-fangled alien technology) at major Protoss cities, and they are warped in as needed. The origin does not have to be "The Homeworld" it just has to be "Somewhere else."

 

It's pretty simple... All that happens is the probe puts down a "BUILDING" pill and then adds water....

 

Loosing Aiur is basically the main justification for loosing old and replacing them with new units in the Protoss lineup. Things like the Mothership and Colossus were not used in SC out of arrogance and maybe time constraint - they didn´t need them before.

 

lol i can see the protoss warping in a nexus and a zealot without his armor walks out of the bathroom in another world!, that would make for a great comic.

 

Yes after looking more into Shakuras I agree with you privateparts. Makes me really lean towards my idea.
