WarCraft References in StarCraft 2

Do you think Blizzard will make nods to the WarCraft universe by adding in some easter eggs to the StarCraft 2 campaigns and unit quotes? I think they will since they did it with WarCraft 3. Hmm. Warcraft III was a prety comical game, with goblins, dwarfs and things like that, I have the feeling that starcraft 2 is going to have its degree of humor, but its gonna be more serious. Maybe a reference or two, but I bet we wont be seing warcraft 3 hidden units.

 

Probably they had refereces to Warcraft and Diablo and WC3 had SC references

 

I hope so those hidden jokes add good flavor to the game expecially if you play alot of different blizzard games.

 

i hope they add some unit sayings that poke fun at resemblances with war3. like the marine saying something about his shield.

 

i remember that tracy's armory and bobs guns, where both implemented in warcraft 3 and starcraft. You just had to look at the little shops in some missions of starcraft and i forget where they where in warcraft3

 

I believe the observer had griswold's voice asking "What can I do for ye?" as it's annoyed speech. And Ogden talking about his sign. Also had the peon yelling "Stop poking me!"

 

Hope they keep up the references to there other games and even the other references like the Marine and Dropship made references to Aliens or the Firebats one to King of the Hill. If they take it out that will be a drag to those who look for the easter eggs.

Yeah it also had Akara?? ( the witch from Diablo 1) Saying "I sense a soul in search of answers.

The arbiter said it while the observer played a sound bite
