I'm only worried about one thing if vultures leave the SC world.. WHAT WILL RAYNOR RIDE??

Anyway, I don't mind if vultures are taken out. I'm sure they'll be replaced by somethng just as useful. They were ever really only good against zerglings

Try watching sum of THE EMPEROR's games!!and see the real use of vultures..

 

All of those Korean dudes salivate over Vultures, Siege Tanks and other metallic units... I never saw a good ol' M&M skirmish in professional games... :'(

 

That won't happen because
1. Kerrgan is zerg and Raynor is terran
2. Raynor sworn to kill Kerrigan to avenge Fenix's death

I rarely use vultures, well i rarely use Terran in the first place
Because the siege tank is just too powerful, everytime I build the Machine factory I'd go straight for tanks.

The only plus with the Vulture, in my opinion, was the spider mines and as long as the Reaper gets those I'll be happy.

Spider mines wreacked havoc on the Zerg, I used to love playing that Mar Sara level where you had to survive for 30 minutes. Spider mines aaaall over the entrances, missile turrets everywhere, and approximately 10 bunkers.

Exactly! When you think about it, the Vulture is useless, it's the MINES that are the real killer. Just like Carriers and Interceptors, so we should just get Interceptors... ;D

Imo, the Vulture could be completely replaced by a true Spider Mine, built directly at the Machine Shop, that moves like a spider and that you could command to go anywhere and deploy into a mine. And even undeploy and relocate if necessary...

 

Excellent idea, there was nothing worse than accidentally placing a spider mine in a terrible place and it lying dormont for the rest of the game!
