    Have a spanish chimney-sweeper whose imagery is considered taboo within the US and England, is a holiday icon in the netherlands and germany, and is concidered mostly acceptable in canada, france and Japan.

    I have a hard time thinking of anything that's really taboo in Japan, except fully clothed women on billboards.

    Nuclear weapons are pretty much taboo, to the point where japanese translations often remove all references to them.
