VOTE for New Pet Icon[Queen]

Though I'm not finished with making pics for each pet needing an update, I've decided to go ahead and ask Jon or one of the other admins/mods to update the Queen. Not only does her current image copy the one used for the overseer, but being one of the most talked about zerg units, she needs to have an image so people would know its the queen pet and not the overseer pet(no way to tell the difference atm)

I've decided to have this poll open for 2 weeks starting today 1/26/09, then the poll will lock. After that I will submit all 3 versions along with a link to this thread and my recomendation based off of the votes.

Below are three different sets of possible queen icons, each set has both 1st and second editions.

As voting turnout for most things tends to be small, YOUR VOTE DOES COUNT!!! However, you will be unable to change your vote after you submit, so be careful!

Hopefully after this the icon will be updated in a timely manner, but niether me or any of the mods can guarantee anything.

Before anyone asks, the status of current pets is the same as before, but I will start working on them again today, and redo the other ones I made due to an error I made when doing the boarders.

 

I voted. However, I do think you're overcomplicating this. Although I've never done pets, I would create 2 options and post it to Jon and make him choose. The shop has never been a democracy

 

I voted and i must say, i do agree that 2 pets with same icons is not good, for me its laziness

 

true, but I like democracy and would be nice to know that the image choosen is the one that most common forum goers like.

I think all 3 images are good and it would be hard for just 1 person to decide which is the best to use, I'M not even sure which 1 I like best

I voted for option 1. It doesn't look the cleanest, but it is the most recognizeable

 

With these postage stamp pets, I can't tell what half of the units are anyways, but I like 2.

 

The second one looks most clear but first also looks pretty good. 2ftw then. 2>1 :3

I'm tied bewteen 1 and 2. 2 is closer and clearer, but 1 follows the way the other zerg pets look(full body images).

 

If you didn't want our opinion, you shouldn't have asked.
Personally I'm not impressed with any of the zerg pets, because when they are cut down to fit in the image they don't look like much more that blobs

 

When did I say that?!? I care about other opinions over mine, as I don't feel I have the right to decide, as my vote would be biased since I made them. Hence why I haven't voted.

I was just stating my personal opinion, why am I not allowed to state it when others are allowed to?
