Uh, you haven't said anything about the two cards... ; I personally say NO to any nVidia GT250+ 768MB cards. I feel those cards should at LEAST have 1GB of ram. 2GB cards don't appear to offer much performance gains in ANY games yet, so its hard to say what kind of performance difference you'd get from a 2GB card. The real question is, what are these cards, nVidia, AMD? What is their model? Knowing model is even more important then knowing how much ram is has, because that is a much better indicator of true performance.
